"Show me Your Glory...."

"And he said, “Please, show me Your glory... And the Lord said to Moses, “Cut two tablets of stone like the first ones, and I will write on these tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you broke." (Exodus 33:18, Exodus 34:1)

Quote du Jour - Harriet Tubman

“I freed a thousand slaves; I could have freed a thousand more if only they knew they were slaves.”

Matthew 24:12-13

Matthew 24:12-13
And because iniquity [the breaking of Yahweh's Law] shall abound,
the love of many shall wax cold.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Hebrew 8:13

In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete.
Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

It says the NEW is replacing the OLD and the OLD is passing away.
Within context this may be referring to the covenant.
We already KNOW that the NEW or RENEWED covenant was the writing of the torah on our hearts.

So the stone and physical, the words that can be easily misunderstood or unclear or mistranslated, will be replaced by the Ruach HaKodesh writing them PERFECTLY in our hearts.

I find it ESPECIALLY interesting that it says SOON to or ABOUT TO pass away.

Indicating....

That it has NOT YET PASSED AWAY.

You know... kind of like the Heavens and Earth haven't passed away YET but will.

I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;

For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away,
one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.

Lured by the Immoral Woman....Local News Story

Our local news is featuring a terrible event that occured recently.  4 teenagers lured a young man into a shed and then did numerous cruel things to him.
http://www.katu.com/news/investigators/4-teens-facing-charges-after-allegedly-torturing-boy-245464461.html
http://www.katu.com/news/investigators/KATU-Exclusive-Mother-of-tortured-teen-says-her-son-was-no-bully-245649901.html

The comments are almost as horrendous as the act.  While about half are commenting that the incident was HORRIBLE and FRIGHTENING, many others are commenting that he DESERVED IT.
I have no doubts that the young man was not pure and innocent.  But violence in response to 'harsh words'?  The people who perpetrated this act are dangerous.  The people who support these actions are dangerous.  Makes me glad that I live in the boonies and am well prepared for someone who decides to bring violence to me and mine.

This type of activity in Portland is VERY historically rooted, leading me to believe that these spiritual strongholds there are well established.
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/10/03/portland-s-undergound-tunnels-are-relics-of-a-seedy-past.html

But it also STRONGLY reminded me of a very clear warning that is found in scriptures....

Proverbs 5:3-6
3 For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey,
And her mouth is smoother than oil;
4 But in the end she is bitter as wormwood,
Sharp as a two-edged sword.
5 Her feet go down to death,
Her steps lay hold of hell.
6 Lest you ponder her path of life—
Her ways are unstable;
You do not know them.

For my part, I feel terrible for that young man.  Maybe he was rude.  Maybe he had anger in his heart.  But to be so violated and wounded for words....  I pray that YHWH heal his body and his heart.

If I was his mother I would move out of that city, shake the dust off my feet and never look back.

Proverbs 7
7 My son, keep my words,
And treasure my commands within you.
2 Keep my commands and live,
And my law as the apple of your eye.
3 Bind them on your fingers;
Write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,”
And call understanding your nearest kin,
5 That they may keep you from the immoral woman,
From the seductress who flatters with her words.
6 For at the window of my house
I looked through my lattice,
7 And saw among the simple,
I perceived among the youths,
A young man devoid of understanding,
8 Passing along the street near her corner;
And he took the path to her house
9 In the twilight, in the evening,
In the black and dark night.
10 And there a woman met him,
With the attire of a harlot, and a crafty heart.
11 She was loud and rebellious,
Her feet would not stay at home.
12 At times she was outside, at times in the open square,
Lurking at every corner.
13 So she caught him and kissed him;
With an impudent face she said to him:
14 “I have peace offerings with me;
Today I have paid my vows.
15 So I came out to meet you,
Diligently to seek your face,
And I have found you.
16 I have spread my bed with tapestry,
Colored coverings of Egyptian linen.
17 I have perfumed my bed
With myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.
18 Come, let us take our fill of love until morning;
Let us delight ourselves with love.
19 For my husband is not at home;
He has gone on a long journey;
20 He has taken a bag of money with him,
And will come home on the appointed day.”
21 With her enticing speech she caused him to yield,
With her flattering lips she seduced him.
22 Immediately he went after her, as an ox goes to the slaughter,
Or as a fool to the correction of the stocks,
23 Till an arrow struck his liver.
As a bird hastens to the snare,
He did not know it would cost his life.
24 Now therefore, listen to me, my children;
Pay attention to the words of my mouth:
25 Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways,
Do not stray into her paths;
26 For she has cast down many wounded,
And all who were slain by her were strong men.
27 Her house is the way to hell,
Descending to the chambers of death.

U2 Praises at a Concert - Yahweh and Psalm 40

Yahweh Lyrics

Take these shoes
Click clacking down some dead end street
Take these shoes
And make them fit
Take this shirt
Polyester white trash made in nowhere
Take this shirt
And make it clean, clean
Take this soul
Stranded in some skin and bones
Take this soul
And make it sing

Yahweh, Yahweh
Always pain before a child is born
Yahweh, Yahweh
Still I'm waiting for the dawn

Take these hands
Teach them what to carry
Take these hands
Don't make a fist
Take this mouth
So quick to criticise
Take this mouth
Give it a kiss

Yahweh, Yahweh
Always pain before a child is born
Yahewh, Yahweh
Still I'm waiting for the dawn

Still waiting for the dawn, the sun is coming up
The sun is coming up on the ocean
This love is like a drop in the ocean
This love is like a drop in the ocean

Yahweh, Yahweh
Always pain before a child is born
Yahweh, tell me now
Why the dark before the dawn?

Take this city
A city should be shining on a hill
Take this city
If it be your will
What no man can own, no man can take
Take this heart
Take this heart
Take this heart
And make it break

40 Lyrics

I waited patiently for the Lord
He inclined and heard my cry
He lift me up out of the pit
Out of the miry clay

I will sing, sing a new song
I will sing, sing a new song

How long to sing this song?
How long to sing this song?
How long...how long...how long...
How long...to sing this song

He set my feet upon a rock
And made my footsteps firm
Many will see
Many will see and fear

I will sing, sing a new song
I will sing, sing a new song
I will sing, sing a new song
I will sing, sing a new song

How long to sing this song?
How long to sing this song?
How long...how long...how long...

Bill Nye and Ken Ham Debate, Evolution vs Creation

I was able to catch most of the live debate today.  Overall I think alot of excellent information was discussed and for the most part, calmly and politely.

In my opinion, Ken Ham missed some serious opportunities to drive home the Bible's unique authority regarding historical events and the observation of scientific evidence.  He often, seemingly tritely, said, "There's this book..."  And while I respect that he went back to The Book, he failed to pull important verses and powerful evidences in it.

For example, when he was questioned about the creation of the stars, he pointed out the scripture that says, "In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth."  And almost as an afterthought he added that on the fourth day, "He made the stars also."

Then he said, "I don't know why," in response to Why they were created and Why they are moving the way they do.

But Genesis 1:14-15 tells us, "Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so."
And Enoch 2:1 tells us, "Observe ye everything that takes place in the heaven, how they do not change their orbits, and the luminaries which are in the heaven, how they all rise and set in order each in its season, and transgress not against their appointed order."

Another example, when Bill Nye accused creation believers of 'rejecting observable scientific evidences' I do not feel that Ken Ham CLEARLY answered.  Hence Bill Nye made the statement time and time again, that we must be 'rejecting' these evidences in favor of The Book.

I felt that Ken Ham would have done well to say, loud and clear, that two people coming upon 'evidence' might have differing opinions about it's meaning and application.  And as a person coming with The Book, we could put our 'evidence' against the book and see if they contradict.

As a person who believes in creation myself, I feel that the 'EVIDENCE' in fact falls into place and supports The Book.  I feel that the 'EVIDENCE' does not contradict the Bible.  I feel that the Creation Story, and the Global Flood, and Eve being the mother of all living and Noah being the patriarchal source of all living are all found in the 'EVIDENCE' and my belief in the Word of YHWH is made stronger.

Bill Nye's last arguments revealed the heart of his true fear in giving 'Creation' an ear in scientific circles.  He very clearly lacked understanding in regards to salvation and condemnation from a Biblical standpoint and pointedly asked, "What about all those people in the world who do not believe the Bible?  Are they all lost and condemned?" (paraphrased until I can find a transcript or go over the minutes again)

It wasn't an argument.

It was a plea.

And in reality, it is the plea of most who are confronted with a Bible proponent.  And so sadly, it is often met with .... "I don't know."  Or worse.... silence, so that the fears of the unbeliever are solidified and given greater voice inside their hearts.

I realize that the question came towards the end of the debate and perhaps Ken Ham didn't have the opportunity to answer it properly during the recorded session of the debate.

But I pray that he didn't miss the opportunity altogether and answered a seeking heart.

Overall, I didn't get the impression that anyone WON the debate.  I felt that it was fair to both parties and both parties were able to speak their mind quite openly for some time to make their points clearly.

And I am extremely grateful to Bill Nye for engaging in the debate.  He clearly stated that 'scientists' as a whole LOVE controversial points of view and the opportunity to question and prove their points of view.  But the truth is that MANY today are not willing to hear, debate and consider other's points of view.

Thank you to Bill Nye for being honorable, polite and an excellent spokesperson for those who support the theory of evolution.

And Thank you also to Ken Ham and Answers in Genesis for being courageous and making such amazing strides for the Biblical story of creation in scientific circles.

Thieves Oil Recipes and Uses

The basic story is that during the black plague a group of resourceful thieves concocted this oil, and covering their bodies were able to pillage the dead without contracting the disease.  While the historicity of the tale is questioned, it is undeniable that this assembly of Essential Oils kills germs, strengthens the immune system and aids in healing.  It can be used in place of neosporen, vapo rub, hand sanitizer, air fresheners.  It can strengthen homemade toothpastes, healing pastes, and massage rubs.

The Basic Ingredients and Their Individual Properties....
