Hanukkah - Dedicating Our Temples, Day 8
Oh what a joyous time this has been. This testing, for me, was hard and at times very painful. But having rooted some dirt out I feel braver and freer and closer to facing the future YHWH has for me and my family.
1 Cor 2:9
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
Isa 64:4
For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
Tonight is when my family will be lighting the candles for the last time for Hanukkah. Of course this is not an ending. This is the beginning of the rest of our walk with Him. And here is where we LOUDLY declare our allegiance, our purpose and our master.
Mat 6:24
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Romans 6:15-23
15 What then? Are we to sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! 16 Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves,[a] you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness? 17 But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed, 18 and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness. 19 I am speaking in human terms, because of your natural limitations. For just as you once presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness leading to sanctification.
20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21 But what fruit were you getting at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. 22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
For this last day of Hanukkah, my husband and I will set aside the necessary time to DEDICATE our home and family.
2Ch 7:9
And in the eighth day they made a solemn assembly: for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.
Neh 8:18
Also day by day, from the first day unto the last day, he read in the book of the law of God. And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto the manner.
We will use pure olive oil.
Exo 27:20
And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always.
Lev 24:2
Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.
Exo 25:6
Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,
We will mark the doors and windows. We will mark the beds. We will mark the children's foreheads. We will sprinkle our gardening spaces. We will mark each other's foreheads.
Exo 29:7
Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him.
Exo 29:21
And thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.
We will declare that THIS belongs to YHWH, for His glory, for HIS will. We declare that we willingly ask YHWH to have His way with us and do whatever He wants in our lives and in this space. We shema, hear and do, the law of YHWH and ask that He be our Elohim, and we be His people.
Jos 24:15
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
And we will REJOICE.

To Till or Not To Till
The Bible does not say to till the ground. The word means to put in subjection and to work. It is the same word for a man working. Our current farm practices of tilling destroy soil structure and kill beneficial bacteria, nemotodes and worms by cutting, breaking and crushing the soil. Does this sound like the labor put on man? Definitely not by YHWH!

Hanukkah - Cleaning Out Our Temples, Day 7
Prayers for your blessing as you gird up your strength and continue this FIGHT for purity and cleanliness before our Holy and Set Apart Elohim!
We have really been studying and digging deep. And for my part, I was really feeling overwhelmed, despairing, and defeated.
Here I am, trying so hard to please this Perfect YAH! Here I am, working and studying and praying and 'keepin on'. And let's face it, it isn't enough.
There are some who have lied to themselves and believe that they are free to do anything under Christ because grace will cover it. I assure you that this is NOT TRUE and you are deceiving yourself. Yahshua said that they will hear, "DEPART FROM ME WORKERS OF LAWLESSNESS!"
Matthew 7:21-23
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
Oh my heart trembles to think of His loving and mighty voice saying that to me!
There are some who have lied to themselves and believe that they can follow the law so perfectly and be considered pure and do not need a saviour. James reminds us that if we have EVER FAILED IN ONE POINT WE WILL BE FOUND GUILTY. YHWH wants PERFECTION in spirit and truth. And no man has learned to control all his words and thoughts. And even great and very wise men, such as David and Solomon, have fallen into transgressing the law.
James 2:10-13
10 For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it. 11 For he who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” If you do not commit adultery but do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak and so act as those who are to be judged under the law of liberty. 13 For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
How sad I am to hear that these are throwing away our beautiful saviour. How I weep to know they have trampled on the sacrifice and will not be offered it again!
And here I am.... trying to win this race. And not just for me! But for my husband, and for my children. For my friends and for my extended family. For the Glory of Israel!
And I know I am not good enough....
Exodus 3:5 Then he said, “Do not come near; take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.”
I must remove everything that stands between me and HIm.
Exodus 19:22 Also let the priests who come near to the Lord consecrate themselves, lest the Lord break out against them.”
I must cleanse myself inside and out.
Exodus 24:2 Moses alone shall come near to the Lord, but the others shall not come near, and the people shall not come up with him.”
I must lean upon my beautiful, mighty and glorious annointed one, Yahshua to cover the ground that I cannot.
Hebrews 4:14-16
14 Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
And I must KEEP FAITH.
Hebrew 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
So tonight I lift my prayers that we can all remind ourselves of WHO Yahshua is, WHAT He did for us, and WHY He did it. Then we can remind ourselves of WHO that makes us, WHAT He wants of us, and WHY would we ever let go of that perfect and Holy joy!
Thank you so much Yahshua for coming and saving me. Please be my light.

Jonathan Cahn - Hanukkah Foreshadows The Antichrist
Amazing. I knew that Hanukkah was prophetic of end times, as Daniel and Ezekiel are also. But to see the connection of Daniel and Ezekiel prophesy directly prophesying the events of Maccabees!?! We know that Yahshua said it will happen again the end times, which is why I firmly believe study of this event is necessary. To hear that the prophet words accurately described it coming as well. We have the shadow, and we have it in the flesh as well. Spirit and truth.

Hanukkah - Cleaning Out Our Temples, Day 5
Shalom as we continue our process of cleaning, prepping, and dedicating our temples to YHWH!
Today we are going to look at the correlations between Hanukkah and the parable of the 10 virgins.
"Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
And five of them were wise, and five were foolish."
I believe these women are betrothed and called to be Brides to the Bridegroom. Looking at the ancient betrothal and marriage practices we find that a man would choose his bride, pay a price to the father for the bride, and a gift to the bride as a promise. He would then go to his homeland to prepare a home for his family and return for her when it was ready. Our bridegroom, Yahshua paid a price to THE Father, His perfect sacrifice, and left a gift to His bride until His return, the Holy Spirit.
But just because we were called, doesn't mean we make it to the end. Some are foolish. Some are wise.
But just because we were called, doesn't mean we make it to the end. Some are foolish. Some are wise.
"They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps."
Notice that they ALL have their lamps. The Word is the lamp. We HAVE the word.
Psa 119:105
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
But the foolish do not have any oil with them. The wise took oil with them.
While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
The bridegroom, like our own, did not return quickly, and THEY ALL SLEPT. Some would argue with me. But I believe EVERYONE slept. For a little while the believers were full of zeal and spirit. This word midnight is translated from 'mesos' = middle or midst, and 'nyx' which means night, and death, sins, shame, moral stupidity and darkness. Strong's says that this is when even the weary and drunkards fall asleep.
It feels like this is an apt description of Hanukkah.
The rededication of the temple occurred in the middle of deep darkness. And the 25th of Kislev occurs in the middle of the darkness of winter. It is dark. It is cold. Aleph Beta recently correlated Hanukkah with Adam's first winter, and we can still feel that connection. This physical darkness is showing us a spiritual message.
We are in the midst of Spiritual Darkness.
And all of us were asleep.
BUT THE CRY ARISES! HE IS COMING! LIGHT YOUR LAMPS! HE IS COMING!
Oh, can you feel that cry in your bones!?! We shake off the slumber, we shamefacedly brush ourselves off and make ourselves as presentable as we possibly can.
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
The word translated as 'trimmed' here is kosmeo. It means to put in order, arrange, make ready, prepare, and to adorn and ornament, especially with HONOR. It is the same word used when Yahshua speaks about the man with evil spirits who cleans out his 'house' in Matthew 12. It is also found in Luke 21 when they priests were praising how beautifully 'adorned' the temple was, and Yahshua said that it would soon be thrown down, not one stone upon another.
You can see that since we have awoken we are really scurrying to ADORN ourselves, trim our lamps, because HE IS COMING!
And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
But the foolish had no oil.
And the wise had only JUST enough oil. They encouraged the others to go and get some for themselves.
But what is this oil?
Looking up oil in the bible, we are almost inundated with verses. So many of the sacrifices have oil in them. There is the anointing oil. In the blessings and the curses of Deut we are promised abundant oil, or a lack of oil. 1 Kings 17:14 We have a miracle of oil not running out and meat not going bad. 2 Kings 4 We have another miracle of oil, where a little jar filled many large jars.
Now I do not know if the one day's oil lasted for eight days at the Re-Dedication of the Temple. But there is NO DENYING that it is possible. Our God does do miracles. And miracles of Oil are throughout the law and the prophets.
Now I do not know if the one day's oil lasted for eight days at the Re-Dedication of the Temple. But there is NO DENYING that it is possible. Our God does do miracles. And miracles of Oil are throughout the law and the prophets.
1 Samuel 61:3 says we will be given the oil of joy for mourning.
Heb 1:9 says we will be given the oil of gladness because we loved righteousness and hated lawlessness.
But still, WHAT IS THIS OIL?
And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always.
Exodus 27:20
This oil is the cleanest and purest oil of hand beaten fresh olives. This oil is caused by pressing and squeezing without mechanical means. (A mortar and pestle are allowed?) This is a PERSONAL pressing.
Steve Moutria (I think) did a teaching on the narrow path, tribulations, and our testimony being this pressed oil. Cole Davis, in yesterdays video, shared with us the mental image of the sponge being pressed.
WHAT COMES OUT OF US WHEN WE ARE PRESSED?
Is it pure oil?
Is it bitter waters?
I admit, fearfully, that I see both in me.
And when I hear that HE IS COMING!... Do I have ENOUGH OIL? Do I have any oil left?
The enemy laughs and laughs.
But the word still has the LAST laugh.
And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.
Numbers 4:16
El = God.
Azar = Is our Help
El is our HELP! El is given the office pertaining to OIL! El is going to HELP US WITH OUR OIL!
El is going to make sure our little tiny bit of oil IS ENOUGH.
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
The Bridegroom is coming. And those that have enough oil are ready and waiting for Him and WELCOMED IN! This right here is a huge teaching in and of itself. The marriage, the hiding away, the shutting into the Ark of Noah, the Ark of the Covenant, the sealing and carrying away with the wings of eagles. We hear alot about the Rapture from the Church, full of misunderstandings and a lack of biblical basis. But the hiding away of the bride before the wrath of YHWH comes is COMPLETELY BIBLICAL.
Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
The foolish are not sealed with the Bridegroom. Personally I do not know their fate. Some believe that it is the end for them. But I think it likely that SOME are saved, but not the bride. Those that did try and are totally willing to repent, but didn't know the messiah or didn't know the law. I don't know. But I fully trust that YHWH is a good God and gives everyone every opportunity.
I also pray that I am learning and submitting and taking my opportunity NOW to be ready.
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
Matthew 25:1-13

Hanukkah - Cleaning Out Our Temples, Day 3
Shalom to you on your journey to Clean Out Your Temple!
We are all in different situations in our home and family life. Maybe you are young and still live with your parents, or are single and living alone or with friends. Others are married, some with children, some without. Some have extended family living with them. House, apt, bedroom, or car. Your home is your castle.
Do you want the enemy inside your gates?
Are you LETTING the enemy inside your gates?
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
James 4:7
Remember that the word said a person who did not care for their family was worse than an unbeliever.
What you allow in your home physically equals what you allow in your home spiritually.
Some of this might seem like ridiculously simple stuff. But where I draw the line, might not match up with where you draw the line. At no point do I require you to follow MY line. But I hope and pray that we can all SEEK and SUBMIT to HIS lines.
Physical Abuses, Drug or Alcohol Abuses, Pornography, Witchcraft and Spiritism.
On the surface we might be able to agree on these, but digging deep we may have more struggles than expected.
Physical Abuses can include hitting, harsh discipline, force, neglect. It can also include yelling and belittling. Is our home a safe and uplifting place?
22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.
25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, 26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.[a] 28 In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, 30 because we are members of his body. 31 “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” 32 This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. 33 However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
Ephesians 5:22-33
Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger; instead, bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
Ephesians 6:4
Fathers, do not provoke your children, so they will not become discouraged.
Colossians 3:21
Drug and Alcohol Abuses can include prescribed, over the counter, illicit. At some point in time we need to confront the word for sorcery in scripture, Pharmekia, and decide what it means for us. At some point in time we need to confront that every herb was given to man as food and medicine, but for years our society has been incarcerating and labeling people for the use of just such an herb. Where do we begin and end our faith in YHWH Raffa, YHWH the Healer?
saying, “If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer.”
Exodus 15:26
Pornography while obviously covering 'those sites', magazines, etc, it would also start touching on what TV shows and movies we are watching. It could include 'romance' novels. What view of sexuality is allowed in our homes?
Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.
1 Corinthians 6:18
Witchcraft and Spiritism can include talismans, yoga, chakra, karma, tarot, ouija, seances, horoscopes, reincarnation. It can also include our tv and movies again, and books, whether factual or just 'non fiction entertainment'. What voices and ideas are allowed to speak into our homes?
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:12
These are important considerations we must make in our homes. And while we may have considered them previously and made our decisions, it is ALWAYS a good idea to periodically check them again. How much have we grown in the word since then? How much more have we learned about the character of YHWH since then?
Does our line stand up to scrutiny today?
24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”
Matthew 7:24-27
This is not easy.
Unfortunately many of our brothers and sisters in Israel live with nonbelievers. How much more difficult these topics get!!
But do not despair. Regardless of your personal situation, YHWH KNOWS ALL OF IT. And He sees you. And as we discussed before, HE sees deep inside your inner parts, he searches and examines the heart. We must do the best that we can and He will bless and guide us as we continue on.
We will have to keep learning and cleaning until we stand before the throne and all things are made clear.
Until then we must persevere and keep pressing in.
An examination of our pressing and pure oil.

May YHWH richly bless you as you walk on this path of purification for His Glory!

Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
Resist him, standing firm in your faith and in the knowledge that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.
1 Peter 5:8-9

Hanukkah - Cleaning Out Our Temples, Day 2
Blessings upon you Feast of Dedication!
Yesterday we began (and renewed) our process of turning our attentions to searching our inward parts.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1 John 1:8
Last night as I entered into my bedtime prayers I had little trouble finding my failings. I honestly mentioned a few of them in yesterdays post. I am a mother and a wife. I am blessed beyond belief, I truly am. And I KNOW it.
But I grumble. I fear. Sometimes I see my selfishness and am utterly disgusted by it.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7
I know this is NOT the spirit YHWH wants me to have. I know this is NOT the spirit HE gives His child.
I probably have other failings, but this is certainly a make or break issue in my home right now. It steals my joy, it drains me, it adds tension to my home and then my family begins to respond in kind.
I need freedom from this.
In the past when I have struggled with what YHWH wants vs what my flesh wants I have learned that sometimes I have to walk it out before I FEEL it.
“But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go, work today in my vineyard.’
“He answered and said, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he regretted it and went.
“Then he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said, ‘I go, sir,’ but he did not go.
“Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said to Him, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you.
Matthew 21:28-31
As I step up to DO what is required of me, hopefully I soon find joy in the will of YHWH and maybe soon find deeper understandings of His call and will in my life.
What surprised me most about this was that YHWH had ALREADY stepped in a few days ago and given me wisdom about WHY my heart has been so unsettled. As a friend said the other day, "We all have a story." Our stories do not define us. But there is no denying that they can haunt us, scar us, frighten us and, if they are not FULLY SUBMITTED TO YHWH, can destroy us.
The awesome and amazing news is that YHWH is an Elohim WHO SAVES!!
Our God is the God of salvation.
Psalm 68:20a
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Jeremiah 29:11
In that past I basically lost faith in people. And every now and then, when great changes stand before me, great questions, or crossroads, my heart reverts to that.
What astounds me as I type this out, is that YHWH understands! He knows, He sees. And He doesn't wait for my call, He was already booted up, and out the door, to save me. I do not know HOW MANY TIMES I was in some bad place, some bad situation and I cry out and He saves me, but I find that HIS moving started way before I called!!
YHWH is an Elohim who saves.
It can be so frightening addressing our past. It can be so frightening addressing our weaknesses, admitting them, and getting to their root. It can be frightening to DIG IT OUT.
For though you wash yourself with lye, and use much soap,
Yet your iniquity is marked before Me,” says the Lord GOD.
Jeremiah 2:22
Note that this verse speaks of cleaning, and it speaks of iniquity. ALL PAIN, and ALL FEAR is rooted in iniquity. Some of it is OUR iniquity. Some of it is iniquity done against us.
It NEEDS to be washed away. And only YHWH can do it.
Psalm 51 has great detail of YHWH cleaning us and saving us.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9
This includes our sins, and those done against us as well. Because BOTH leave wounds on our souls.
Today, confess your sins to YHWH and lay any wounds before Him.
Put it ALL before Him and LET HIM CLEAN IT OUT! Lay it at His feet, and in His timing you will SEE what He is doing for you.
“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”
Psalm 46:10
For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.
Psalm 62:5
The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”
Exodus 14:14
May YHWH richly bless you as you seek to serve Him with a CLEAN HEART!

Hanukkah - Cleaning Out Our Temples, Day 1
Have a blessed Feast of Dedication!!
Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart.
Psalm 51:6
In this season of cleaning, scouring and rededication... What are we cleaning?? We aren't cleaning the outside, the appearance of cleanness won't cut it. We are looking at the INWARD parts. Because we will stand before His Holy throne for judgement one day.
I want to hear, "Well done faithful servant."
For God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
1 Samuel 16:7b
"I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give to each man according to his ways, According to the results of his deeds.
Jeremiah 17:10
O LORD, You have searched me and known me.
Psalm 139:1
Would not God find this out? For He knows the secrets of the heart.
Psalm 44:21
Then the Lord said to him, “Now you Pharisees make the outside of the cup and dish clean, but your inward part is full of greed and wickedness."
Luke 11:39

Remember WE are the church. And we NEED to be cleaning ourselves, our homes, and our fellowships. Do not let the enemy have any ground.
First, we start by looking at ourself. We cannot see, and have no integrity telling others to clean up their lives, when we are walking in and harboring sin.
"Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye."
Matthew 7:5
Second, we must guard and clean our homes. Our marriages, our children, anyone in our care must be carefully guarded over. We cannot gain more territory if we are losing our home ground. We cannot grow the family of YHWH if we are throwing aside our God given responsibility in our family.
But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
1 Timothy 5:8
Third, we must righteously judge and root out evil in the midst of the assembly. The enemy cannot be allowed to speak freely in our fellowships. Leading the youth, private counselors, music ministries, various prayer groups. These are wonderful things when led by the spirit of YHWH and constrained by His law. But when the enemy infiltrates it destroys the foundations and starts picking off our members unchecked.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Ephesians 5:11
I have hated the congregation of evildoers; and will not sit with the wicked.
Psalm 26:5
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:
1 Peter 5:8
Consider this day what sins, including heart sins, are still in each of us individually today. Selfishness, greed, not being a joyful giver, fearful and not trusting. And we need to be truly honest if we are not keeping the law to the best of our abilities. Are we setting aside the Sabbath? Are we wearing our tassels? Are we keeping the feasts? Are we studying the word and taking it in like food and water? Are we praying for YHWHs perspective, wisdom and guidance? Are we seeking His will to be done?
Today, root out YOU. I don't expect we'll finish today. But today I say, I must be cleaned out, I must submit.
I pray you are blessed as you join me in this ongoing process of cleaning and re-dedicating to YHWH our Elohim and the Messiah Yahshua. 💓
