Homemade Laundry Detergent on Pinterest | 50 Pins
Here are several recipes (mostly the same recipe) to make laundry soap.
In the past I have made the liquid using 1 bar of fels naptha, 1 1/2 cups washing soda, 1 1/2 cups borax, making 3 gallons. 1/3 cup per load. Worked great and it lasted me about 1 month per gallon doing 1 load a day.
Lately I just make powder using 1 bar of any soap (homemade from gma), 1 cup washing soda, 1 cup borax. 1 tbsp per load. I switched because this is SOOOOO much quicker to make and I am in a busy season, with two toddlers and two in diapers. I have to make this every two weeks, 2 loads a day.
