Are You a Witness for Christ?

Did you know that the word for Witness and Testimony in the new testament is Martyr?
Gives a whole new meaning to some scriptures.

Speaking of John the Baptist....

The same came for a witness (to be martyred), to bear witness (be martyred for) of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

It is one of those things that .... I guess I already knew, but seeing it pierces my heart. In a good way. A cleansing way.
