History with a Twist - Prince of Egypt Indeed

I read this article and was simply amazed.  Very compelling.  The site offers other historical articles which I look forward  to reading.

Joseph Was Imhotep of Egypt

For the full bible account of Joseph read Genesis 30-50.

What does the Word really say about The Law?

Many now preach that the Law of YHWH was nailed to the cross and done away with.  This made me consider..... what does the word really say about The Law and about "doing away" with the Law?

What does the Word say "The Law IS"?

So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good. Romans 7:12

But we know that the Law is good, 1 Timothy 1:8

Happy is he who keeps the law. Proverbs 29:18

For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching is light; And reproofs for discipline are the way of life Proverbs 6:23

I agree that the law is good. Romans 7:16

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome. 1 John 5:3

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome. James 1:25

Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies,  Psalm 119:98

For all Your commandments are righteousness. Psalm 119:172

For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching is light; And reproofs for discipline are the way of life Proverbs 6:23

All your commandments are true. Psalm 119:151

All Your commandments are faithful; Psalm 119:86

Trouble and anguish have found me out, but your commandments are my delight. Psalm 119:143

All he does is just and good, and all his commandments are trustworthy Psalm 111:7

All his commandments are faithful: confirmed for ever and ever, made in truth and equity. Psalm 111:8

For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life Proverbs 6:23

The one who keeps the law is a son with understanding, Proverbs 28:7

What does the Word say about "Doing Away" with the Law?

"But this crowd which does not know the Law is accursed." John 7:49

“For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge,
And people should seek the law from his mouth;
For he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts.
8 But you have departed from the way;
You have caused many to stumble at the law.
You have corrupted the covenant of Levi,”
Says the Lord of hosts.
9 “Therefore I also have made you contemptible and base
Before all the people,
Because you have not kept My ways
But have shown partiality in the law.”
Malachi 2:7-9

Her prophets are light and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law. Zephaniah 3:4

The law is no more. Also, her prophets find No vision from the LORD. Lamentations 2:9

It is time for you, LORD, to work: for they have made void your law. ... It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law. Psalm 119:126

Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained, But happy is he who keeps the law. Proverbs 29:18

To reject the law is to praise the wicked; to obey the law is to fight them. Proverbs 28:4

"Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men." Mark 7:8

Does Faith in the Messiah DESTROY the Law?

If you love me, obey my commandments John 14:15

When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father's commandments and remain in his love. John 15:10

Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law. Romans 3:31

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? 3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?  Romans 6:1-3

We know we love God's children if we love God and obey his commandments. For this demonstrates our love for God: We keep his commandments, and his commandments are not difficult 1 John 5:2-3

And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the ... And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. 2 John 1:6

Anyone who has set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?… Hebrews 10:28-29

So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. Revelation 12:17

What does the Word say about Keeping and Not Keeping the Law?

Leviticus 26
3 ‘If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them,
4 then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
5 Your threshing shall last till the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last till the time of sowing;
you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
6 I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid;
I will rid the land of evil beasts,
and the sword will not go through your land.
7 You will chase your enemies, and they shall fall by the sword before you.
8 Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight;
your enemies shall fall by the sword before you.
9 ‘For I will look on you favorably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you.
10 You shall eat the old harvest, and clear out the old because of the new.
11 I will set My tabernacle among you, and My soul shall not abhor you.
12 I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people.
13 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their slaves;
I have broken the bands of your yoke and made you walk upright.
14 ‘But if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments,
15 and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant,
16 I also will do this to you:
I will even appoint terror over you, wasting disease and fever which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart.
And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
17 I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies.
Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you.
18 ‘And after all this, if you do not obey Me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
19 I will break the pride of your power;
I will make your heavens like iron and your earth like bronze.
20 And your strength shall be spent in vain;
for your land shall not yield its produce, nor shall the trees of the land yield their fruit.
21 ‘Then, if you walk contrary to Me, and are not willing to obey Me, I will bring on you seven times more plagues, according to your sins.
22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, destroy your livestock, and make you few in number;
and your highways shall be desolate.
23 ‘And if by these things you are not reformed by Me, but walk contrary to Me,
24 then I also will walk contrary to you, and I will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
25 And I will bring a sword against you that will execute the vengeance of the covenant;
when you are gathered together within your cities I will send pestilence among you;
and you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
26 When I have cut off your supply of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall bring back your bread by weight, and you shall eat and not be satisfied.
27 ‘And after all this, if you do not obey Me, but walk contrary to Me,
28 then I also will walk contrary to you in fury;
and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
29 You shall eat the flesh of your sons, and you shall eat the flesh of your daughters.
30 I will destroy your high places, cut down your incense altars, and cast your carcasses on the lifeless forms of your idols;
and My soul shall abhor you.
31 I will lay your cities waste and bring your sanctuaries to desolation, and I will not smell the fragrance of your sweet aromas.
32 I will bring the land to desolation, and your enemies who dwell in it shall be astonished at it.
33 I will scatter you among the nations and draw out a sword after you;
your land shall be desolate and your cities waste.
34 Then the land shall enjoy its sabbaths as long as it lies desolate and you are in your enemies’ land;
then the land shall rest and enjoy its sabbaths.
35 As long as it lies desolate it shall rest—
for the time it did not rest on your sabbaths when you dwelt in it.
36 ‘And as for those of you who are left, I will send faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies;
the sound of a shaken leaf shall cause them to flee;
they shall flee as though fleeing from a sword, and they shall fall when no one pursues.
37 They shall stumble over one another, as it were before a sword, when no one pursues;
and you shall have no power to stand before your enemies.
38 You shall perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.
39 And those of you who are left shall waste away in their iniquity in your enemies’ lands;
also in their fathers’ iniquities, which are with them, they shall waste away.
40 ‘But if they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, with their unfaithfulness in which they were unfaithful to Me, and that they also have walked contrary to Me,
41 and that I also have walked contrary to them and have brought them into the land of their enemies;
if their uncircumcised hearts are humbled, and they accept their guilt—
42 then I will remember My covenant with Jacob, and My covenant with Isaac and My covenant with Abraham I will remember;
I will remember the land.
43 The land also shall be left empty by them, and will enjoy its sabbaths while it lies desolate without them;
they will accept their guilt, because they despised My judgments and because their soul abhorred My statutes.
44 Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, nor shall I abhor them, to utterly destroy them and break My covenant with them;
for I am the Lord their God.
45 But for their sake I will remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God:
I am the Lord.’”

But showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. Exodus 20:6

But showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. Deuteronomy 5:10

That the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. Deuteronomy 7:9

Deuteronomy 11
“Therefore you shall love the Lord your God, and keep His charge, His statutes, His judgments, and His commandments always. 2 Know today that I do not speak with your children, who have not known and who have not seen the chastening of the Lord your God, His greatness and His mighty hand and His outstretched arm— 3 His signs and His acts which He did in the midst of Egypt, to Pharaoh king of Egypt, and to all his land; 4 what He did to the army of Egypt, to their horses and their chariots: how He made the waters of the Red Sea overflow them as they pursued you, and how the Lord has destroyed them to this day; 5 what He did for you in the wilderness until you came to this place; 6 and what He did to Dathan and Abiram the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, their households, their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel— 7 but your eyes have seen every great act of the Lord which He did.
8 “Therefore you shall keep every commandment which I command you today, that you may be strong, and go in and possess the land which you cross over to possess, 9 and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord swore to give your fathers, to them and their descendants, ‘a land flowing with milk and honey.’[a] 10 For the land which you go to possess is not like the land of Egypt from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and watered it by foot, as a vegetable garden; 11 but the land which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven, 12 a land for which the Lord your God cares; the eyes of the Lord your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.
13 ‘And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the Lord your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, 14 then I[b] will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil. 15 And I will send grass in your fields for your livestock, that you may eat and be filled.’ 16 “Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them, 17 lest the Lord’s anger be aroused against you, and He shut up the heavens so that there be no rain, and the land yield no produce, and you perish quickly from the good land which the Lord is giving you.
18 “Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 19 You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 20 And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, 21 that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the heavens above the earth.
22 “For if you carefully keep all these commandments which I command you to do—to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, and to hold fast to Him— 23 then the Lord will drive out all these nations from before you, and you will dispossess greater and mightier nations than yourselves. 24 Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea,[c] shall be your territory. 25 No man shall be able to stand against you; the Lord your God will put the dread of you and the fear of you upon all the land where you tread, just as He has said to you.
26 “Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: 27 the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; 28 and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known. 29 Now it shall be, when the Lord your God has brought you into the land which you go to possess, that you shall put the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the curse on Mount Ebal. 30 Are they not on the other side of the Jordan, toward the setting sun, in the land of the Canaanites who dwell in the plain opposite Gilgal, beside the terebinth trees of Moreh? 31 For you will cross over the Jordan and go in to possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you, and you will possess it and dwell in it. 32 And you shall be careful to observe all the statutes and judgments which I set before you today.

Then I said: "LORD, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, .Nehemiah 1:5

I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed: "Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments,  Daniel 9:4

Conclusion

Perhaps we are misunderstanding what was nailed to the cross?  Perhaps.... we had better ALL re-evaluate our understanding before we stand before the throne of Yashua ......

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
Matthew 7:21-23

Proverbs 8:22-36 - Whoever Finds Me Finds LIFE!

“The Lord possessed me at the beginning of His way,
Before His works of old.
23 I have been established from everlasting,
From the beginning, before there was ever an earth.
24 When there were no depths I was brought forth,
When there were no fountains abounding with water.
25 Before the mountains were settled,
Before the hills, I was brought forth;
26 While as yet He had not made the earth or the fields,
Or the primal dust of the world.
27 When He prepared the heavens, I was there,
When He drew a circle on the face of the deep,
28 When He established the clouds above,
When He strengthened the fountains of the deep,
29 When He assigned to the sea its limit,
So that the waters would not transgress His command,
When He marked out the foundations of the earth,
30 Then I was beside Him as a master craftsman;[b]
And I was daily His delight,
Rejoicing always before Him,
31 Rejoicing in His inhabited world,
And my delight was with the sons of men.
32 “Now therefore, listen to me, my children,
For blessed are those who keep my ways.
33 Hear instruction and be wise,
And do not disdain it.
34 Blessed is the man who listens to me,
Watching daily at my gates,
Waiting at the posts of my doors.
35 For whoever finds me finds life,
And obtains favor from the Lord;
36 But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul;
All those who hate me love death.”

Proverbs 8:22-36

This scripture speaks powerfully to me today.  It is so beautiful and shows me my beautiful Saviour Yahshua.  "Whoever finds me, finds Life!"  That is a blessing indeed.

Quote du Jour - David Hood

Faith, without works of obedience, is dead. Works of obedience, without faith, is dead. So, what is not dead? WORKS OF OBEDIENCE BY FAITH – which many people of both covenants failed to understand.

Ecclesiastes 12:13

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God and keep His commandments,
For this is man’s all.

Ecclesiastes 12:13

The Roma - A History of Discrimination

All over the news yesterday I saw a little blond haired girl that they are calling Marie.  During a raid on the Roma encampment, the police discovered a blond child with a family who were obviously not her biological parents and their story of how the child came into their care didn't add up.

Reading about the inconsistencies of their story, I wasn't really that worked up that they were attempting to find the biological family of this child.  I hope they do, or that the child is returned to adults who appeared to love and care for her and no abuse occurred.

However.... Something about this story is REALLY digging at me.

The whole "during a raid on the roma encampment...."
Apparently, across Europe governments are cracking down on the Roma, raiding them, harrassing them, robbing them and evicting them.

"At a time of grinding austerity and persistent unemployment across Europe, minorities and migrants are facing a growing political and economic backlash. The Roma, blighted by poverty and living in squalid housing on the outskirts of some European cities, have been singled out for attention. An estimated 11 million Roma are scattered across Europe."
http://www.nytimes.com/2013/10/22/world/europe/roma-couple-ordered-jailed-by-greek-authorities.html

In Greece, their schools are segregated because much of the general populace protested the Roma children being allowed to go to school at all.
http://www.cnn.com/2013/10/21/world/europe/roma-discrimination/

"Some estimates say that as many as 70% of the Roma population in Europe died in the Holocaust"
http://www.businessinsider.com/blonde-girls-and-roma-families-the-dark-side-to-the-freak-out-2013-10

"Amnesty International, together with other organizations, has documented cases of forced evictions of Romani communities in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, France, Greece, Italy, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. "

Throughout history they were often mistreated everywhere they travelled, "subject to ethnic cleansing, abduction of their children, and forced labor.... heads shaved.... hanged.... ears cut off."

History isn't always pretty, but we would do well to pay attention to the patterns before they play out the ugliest scenes again in our lifetime.

Most evidence points to the Roma people leaving India around 400AD.  They have some language similarities and definitely came from that land.
BUT they share no DNA with those peoples, do not share their religious beliefs and in fact, not being a literate people, have a strong oral tradition that very closely relates to the laws given the Israelites from Mt Sinai.

Cherokee Indians also have a strong oral tradition, have many artifacts which are written in Paleo Hebrew, include the tetragramatton name of god, YHWH, and the 10 commandments.

The Ten Commandments leading to Salvation

As I was growing up I always felt that the 10 Commandments could be stated as simply as
DO NOT STEAL.

1-3 Don't steal YHWH's unique glory and worship
4 Don't steal YHWH's requested time of communion with you
5 Don't steal your parent's rightful honor
6 Don't steal the life of another
7 Don't steal another's spouse
8 Don't steal
9 Don't steal truth and justice from anyone
10 Don't even WANT to steal

I don't think this is profound or anything.

But in my own realization about God this seemed to make the most sense to me.  My initial reaction to learning that God DID exist was quite simply, "He must be a very cold hearted God."  My second realization was that it didn't matter.

He was God.
I would either submit to Him or I wouldn't.

That may seem strange to most 'Christians'.  We go on and on about how loving God is, how merciful.  Churches endlessly preach about our salvation and freedom and Love, Love, Love.  I have even been told that we need not teach our children the bible at all, just teach them "LOVE".

We forget, and fail to preach fully, that God is HOLY, PURE, JUST, and RIGHTEOUS.  We rarely want to look at how we 'measure up' when compared to the Law of YHWH.  Indeed most churches now teach that there is no law, only LOVE.

But deep in our hearts.... we KNOW there is.  That guilt.... conviction..... it is our very spirits crying out that there is a law and we are failing to walk in it.

1 John 3:4 tells us, "Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness."

Yes, to those whose conscious is not yet destroyed and seared to silence, it is clear that God can be cold, distant and hard to please. Proverbs 28:9 says, "He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be an abomination."

For me, I was brought to the conclusion that He was God and regardless of whether or not I 'liked it' I had to submit to it.  I had to submit to HIM.

It was only AFTER this submission that YHWH revealed Himself to me as Love, Healing, Hope, Joy and Laughter.  And it was astounding.  And each tide of revelation has been as astounding as the first.  Wave after wave after wave of..... WOW.

I have read of other's being brought on a similar journey by Him.  Many of those whom I know, who love YHWH dearly, were brought to Him, by HIS hand, from the midst of darkness and pain.  There was real breaking involved.

Hebrew for Christians shared a different summarization of the Ten Commandments.....
[1] “I am your only deliverer, the One who loves and personally chooses you;
[2] love me exclusively;
[3] regard my love as sacred;
[4] rest in me;
[5] honor your life and its history; do no harm to others;
[6] forsake your anger;
[7] abandon your lust;
[8] renounce your greed and
[9] abhor lying.
Finally,
[10] refuse to envy others or compare yourself with them.
Know that you belong to me and that you are accepted.
Love others as you are also loved...

I believe that this is also correct and a beautiful illustration of YHWH and His desire for His people.  And maybe for some... this more closely portrays your testimony of the Messiah grabbing ahold of your heart, wooing you gently, with soft words, and a kind hand.

But for me it was more like a parent yanking me from the train tracks that I willingly walked on blindfolded waiting for that speeding train to come and make it all end.

Know anyone who is lost?

Love is well and good.

But I question that LOVE is enough.  Especially as the word warns us

our hearts are deceitful
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9

we will have vile affections
For this cause ELOHIYM gave them up unto vile affections. Romans 1:26a

our love will grow cold.
And because lawlessness shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Matthew 24:12

ALL of these are caused by our turning from the law of YHWH.

Without the Law of YHWH we have NO IDEA what love is.

By this we know that we love the children of ELOHIYM,
when we love EL, and keep his commandments.
For this is the love of ELOHIYM,
that we keep his commandments:
and his commandments are not grievous.
1 John 5:2-3

We NEED the Law to Love.  Otherwise, our 'love', our 'good deeds', and all our 'righteousness', becomes nothing but filthy rags.

All of us have become like one who is unclean,
and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags;
we all shrivel up like a leaf,
and like the wind our sins sweep us away.
Isaiah 64:6

So let us look at His actual Ten Commandments from Exodus 20

And ELOHIYM spake all these words, saying,

I am YHVH thy ELOHIYM,
which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt,
out of the house of bondage.
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image,
or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above,
or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them:
for I YHVH thy ELOHIYM am a jealous EL,
visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children
unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me,
and keep my commandments.

Thou shalt not take the name of YHVH thy ELOHIYM in vain;
for YHVH will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
But the seventh day is the sabbath of YHVH thy ELOHIYM:
in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter,
thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle,
nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
For in six days YHVH made heaven and earth, the sea,
and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day:
wherefore YHVH blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Honor thy father and thy mother:
that thy days may be long upon the land which YHVH thy ELOHIYM giveth thee.

Thou shalt not murder.

Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Thou shalt not steal.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house,
thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant,
nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor's.

Many are now taught that following the Laws of the Bible are REJECTION of Yahshua, Jesus.  But what does He say?

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Matthew 5:17-18

If you love me, keep my commandments.
John 14:15

And WHAT are Yahshua, Jesus' commandments?  What does John 1:1 reveal about the identity of our Messiah?

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with ELOHIYM, and the Word was EL.

He was the WORD.  What word?  THE WORD!
Yashua is TORAH!  Yahshua is the embodiment of the LAWS OF YHWH.

Even Paul said,

Do we then make void the law through faith? Forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Romans 3:31

THIS is the beginning of wisdom.

The fear of YHVH is the beginning of wisdom:
a good understanding have all they that do his commandments:
his praise endureth for ever.
Psalms 111:10

Begin learning the Laws of YHWH, that you may do them, and show TRUE LOVE to YHWH and your neighbor.

Quote du Jour - Barack Hussein Obama

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a Sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. ...Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that 'the buck stops here'. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and Grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

SENATOR BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA, MARCH 2006

Quote du Jour - Matthew Henry

Some people do not like to hear much of repentance;
but I think it is so necessary that if I should die in the pulpit,
I would desire to die preaching repentance,
and if out of the pulpit I would desire to die practicing it.

Guest Post - Asriel Watchman - Phamakea

Where did we get the word "Pharmacy"? Pharmakea is a Greek Word for a perversion or Manipulation of Nature for Wicked Means, or using Nature or the Natural World against its designed purpose, like Psychotropic Drugs made from otherwise Medicinal Plants like Cocaine Leaves which treat Altitude Sickness being used to open a person up to Homicidal spirits as how the Aztec used it, smoking marijuana,which has 14,000 industrial uses such as making sails, rope and clothes, killing babies in the Womb through Abortion and Birth Control phills when the Womb and the entire female body was designed by God to Give Birth and Nurture Life, mixing plant/animal/human Seed when each is suppose to reproduce after its OWN Kind unlike GMO's which are totally banned in Europe, and Eugenics and many Fertility Treatments that involve surrogates, introducing Viruses into the body through Vaccines that the Body was designed to keep out, and implanting foreign bodies into the Human Body like the Microchip/RFID Chip that will hold your medical information under Obamacare).

In the Book of Revelations Pharmakea is translated as "Sorcery" and in Ancient times a Drug Dealer (licensed by the Govt. Or not) was called a Sorceror. They were priests of the Snake on the Branch Aesclapius (or the two snakes wrapped around the staff).

Guest Post - "The HEAVENS and the EARTH TESTIFY against us, every day."

This teaching is from Sandy Bruce.  He is a Levitical Priest who believes Yahshua our Messiah.  He has many excellent teachings on his facebook page.

In The BEGINNING ( Genesis 1 - 2 ), ELohim PLACED His TORAH on earth,
in the Garden, as the TREE of LIFE ( see Prov 3:1, 17-18 ).

At 1,000 years from Creation:
Through SHEM ( Hebrew: NAME שֵׁם ), ELohim taught His TORAH to the entire Messianic Line: through Eber,
to Abram / Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

At 2,000 years from Creation:
Abram / Abraham was called, and began learning and obeying TORAH from SHEM ( Hebrew: NAME שֵׁם).

At 2,500 years from Creation:
ELohim אֱלֹהִים PLACED His TORAH again
when He SENT His LIVING TORAH ( YESHUA יֵשׁוּעַ ) down to earth,
on the top of the Mountain of EL ( Mount Sinai ),
to SPEAK to His people { IsraEL };
Moses ( Mosheh מֹשֶׁה ) WROTE down ... ALL the WORDS of the “LAW” ( TORAH תּוֹרָה ).

At 4,000 years from Creation:
ELohim אֱלֹהִים PLACED His TORAH again, on earth,
when He SENT His LIVING TORAH ( YESHUA יֵשׁוּעַ ) down to earth
to SPEAK to His people { IsraEL }
YESHUA יֵשׁוּעַ [ again ] SPOKE ... ALL the WORDS of the TORAH
which He had SPOKEN 1,500 years earlier to Moses ( Mosheh מֹשֶׁה ),
who WROTE down ... ALL the WORDS of the “LAW” ( TORAH תּוֹרָה ).

We have Two Witnesses, since the Creation which ELohim created:
the HEAVENS ( Witness #1 )
and the EARTH ( Witness #2 )
(Gen 1:1)

Thus: YESHUA יֵשׁוּעַ spoke and taught the TORAH, in full, TWO TIMES:
On Mount Sinai ( representing HEAVEN )
On earth, in IsraEL ( representing EARTH )

We have NO EXCUSES.

ELohim אֱלֹהִים has spoken to us at least these Two Times.

Day after day, the HEAVENS and the EARTH are Two Witnesses
against us, declaring that ELohim has established His “LAW” ( TORAH תּוֹרָה ), forever, in the HEAVENS and forever on the EARTH.

For assuredly, I say to you, until the HEAVENS and the EARTH pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the “LAW” ( TORAH תּוֹרָה ) till ALL is fulfilled. (Matt 5:18)

Is ALL fulfilled yet?
Answer: No, obviously NOT!

Are ALL the prophecies fulfilled yet?
Answer: No, obviously NOT!

So what part of "ALL" do we NOT yet understand or agree with???

If we do NOT BELIEVE ( LEARN and OBEY ), we are GUILTY
and we are calling ELohim אֱלֹהִים and His Messiah YESHUA יֵשׁוּעַ to be a liar.

46 For if you believed Moses ( Mosheh מֹשֶׁה ),
you would believe Me; for he WROTE about Me.

47 But if you do not believe what Moses WROTE,
how will you believe what I SAY?” (John 5:46-47)

YESHUA יֵשׁוּעַ came down on Mount Sinai,
and SAID ... ALL the WORDS of the “LAW” ( TORAH תּוֹרָה )
to Moses ( Mosheh מֹשֶׁה ),
who then WROTE them ALL down.

YESHUA יֵשׁוּעַ then came down ALL the way to Earth,
and SAID ( and taught ) ... ALL the WORDS of the “LAW” ( TORAH תּוֹרָה )
which He had previously SAID to Moses ( Mosheh מֹשֶׁה ),
who had WRITTEN them ALL down.

If we do NOT BELIEVE ( LEARN and OBEY )
what Moses ( Mosheh מֹשֶׁה ) WROTE,
we will NOT BELIEVE ( LEARN and OBEY )
what YESHUA SAID the SECOND time ( ie: the 4 Good News / Gospels )
because Moses ( Mosheh מֹשֶׁה ) WROTE ...
ALL that YESHUA יֵשׁוּעַ had SAID the FIRST TIME !!!

The HEAVENS and the EARTH TESTIFY against us, every day.

In The END ( Revelation 2 ), ELohim אֱלֹהִים STILL has His “LAW” ( TORAH תּוֹרָה ) on earth, in the Garden, as the TREE of LIFE ( Rev 22:14 ).

The “LAW” ( TORAH תּוֹרָה ) was NEVER done away with.
Messiah YESHUA יֵשׁוּעַ came to earth, to die, to TAKE AWAY,
the CURSE - SPIRITUAL DEATH,
for our BREAKING the “LAW” ( TORAH תּוֹרָה ) of ELohim אֱלֹהִים.

Any other so-called "Good News" / "Gospel" is FALSE and is accursed.

We need to REPENT and OBEY.

Quote du Jour - Connecticut Yankee

"You see my kind of loyalty was loyalty to one's country, not to its institutions or its office-holders. The country is the real thing, the substantial thing, the eternal thing; it is the thing to watch over, and care for, and be loyal to; institutions are extraneous, they are its mere clothing, and clothing can wear out, become ragged, cease to be comfortable, cease to protect the body from winter, disease, and death...I was from Connecticut, whose Constitution declares 'that all political power is inherent in the people, and all free governments are founded on their authority and instituted for their benefit; and that they have at all times an undeniable and indefeasible right to alter their form of government in such a manner as they may think expedient.' Under that gospel, the citizen who thinks he sees that the commonwealth's political clothes are worn out, and yet holds his peace and does not agitate for a new suit, is disloyal; he is a traitor. That he may be the only one who thinks he sees this decay, does not excuse him; it is his duty to agitate anyway, and it is the duty of the others to vote him down if they do not see the matter as he does."
