This is so beautiful.

Mark Biltz teaches about the appointed time Yom Kippur

I was JUST asking for some insight into the Fall Feasts and this video is just blowing me away. I have already had 4 OMG moments and I'm just about about a third of the way through it.

For example.... The Hebrew words regarding the Yom Kippur ceremonies discuss the inability to cleanse our own sin. They describe the scrubbing of our sins with acid and akaline, and explain that our sin is so deep, as if etched on stone and only YHWH can wash it clean. Having recently learned about epigenetics (you should check it out, it will astound you) I am in awe of this revelation.

I was also amazed at the insight that Passover was prophetic of our individual salvation, while Yom Kippur is prophetic of our national salvation (the nation of Israel, all those who cross over and strive for YHWH).

And, right as I pause it here to share with you, Blitz is speaking of the direct parallels in the Yom Kippur ceremony and the book of Revelation....

Yom Kippur will be celebrated around the world this Friday-Sunday (different groups use slightly different calendars). How exciting!

While Preparing for the Feast of Shouting Trumpets!

YHWH, God of Family

My children know and love our bible story book.  As we read the stories over and over again, I have had to add some packing tape here and there on its worn cover, a torn page, or as now, to reinforce the entire binding.  I will likely need to purchase another copy, because I just don't know how many more children this book will hold up to.

But I don't mind one bit.

I LOVE that my children take it to bed with them to look at the pictures, long before they learn how to read.  I LOVE that my oldest son, who now reads prolifically, can often be found in some corner with it, devouring another tale.  And I LOVE that the bible story book helps me to break down the story of the scriptures so that so much of it can be shared with even these young children.

As I shared with them the story of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, even I gained an amazing insight into YHWH and His word, one that I shared partially for Genesis 10-11 also.

YHWH is an Elohim of FAMILY.

He cares about family.  Generations, fathers, sons, mothers and daughters.  The bible is FULL of the theme of "Family."

The word constantly shows us that our actions affect our children, and it also constantly shows us that we are not responsible for the sins of our fathers.  Again and again the word admonishes us to LOVE our parents and to LOVE our children.  Again and again the word likens our relationship with Him as our Father and us as His beloved, sometimes wayward, children.

As I shared with my children, YHWH meets His child where they are.  Little children's prayer are welcomed at His throne.  Their precious little thoughts and tender love is cherished by Him.
No less the confused teenager looking for that personal proof of a creator, the nervous groom searching for courage and assurance he is on the right course, the young mother in need of strength after another sleepless night with a sick babe, the aging grandpa who yearns for his children's peace and salvation.

At any page in your life, YHWH cares about your struggles, your hopes and fears.  And at every moment, He desires to bless you.

All it takes is you to turn to him (teshuvah, repent) and seek His face.

My Lord and My God! - What does it mean?

Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!

John 20:28

What exactly is Thomas saying here????

Looking this passage up in the Interlinear, we find that the original text says, "You are Kurios (Lord) of me, and You are Theos (God) of me."
http://www.scripture4all.org/OnlineInterlinear/NTpdf/joh20.pdf

What would the Old Testament equivalent be for these terms?

Old Testament Equivalent of Kurios

"When reading the Hebrew text, Adonai is the word that was substituted by the Hebrews for YHWH when YHWH appeared in the text."
"Kurios is also used to translate the Hebrew tetragrammaton YHWH, the name of God revealed to Moses by God (see: YHWH); the interchangeableness of these words (Kurios and YHWH) teaches the Deity of Jesus."

Old Testament Equivalent of Theos

"In the Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible (the Septuagint), where elohim refers to the true God, the singular theos is used."
"Because the NT comes to us in first-century Greek, it does not contain the Hebrew word Elohim. Instead it uses the normal Greek word for "God": Theos."

Did Thomas truly say Yahshua Jesus, "You are my YHWH and You are my Elohim."??

Are YOU Saved?

They say, "So, If I don't follow the Laws I'm not saved?"

I am NOT saying that you are not saved.
I am NOT the Judge and The Book of Life is not yet sealed (as far as I know).

But I am saying that if there is no desire in your heart to walk in the WHOLE word of YHWH, and you feel that the words and traditions of men have any authority to 'abolish, do away with, destroy, end ANY word of YHWH, AND/OR add any single word to the word of YHWH, that you are following the 'lawless one' and will be deceived by the Anti Messiah and the whore of Babylon.

I also believe that if you 'choose' to reject the Law of YHWH, that you will suffer all the curses (these are warnings of the consequence of sin) laid out in Leviticus 26.  Just as, if you 'choose' to follow the Law of YHWH, you will be awarded all the blessings that the scriptures AMPLY expound upon.

We also know that YHWH's mercy is new EVERY morning, and that He and all of the Heavens rejoice over every sinner that returns to YHWH.

I believe that until your dying breath, you can make that choice.

But since we don't know the length of our days, it is quite a foolish gamble.

"If it seems evil in your eyes to serve YHWH, choose for yourselves this day whom you are going to serve, whether the mighty ones which your fathers served that were beyond the river, or the mighty ones of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell.  But I and my house, we serve YHWH." Joshua 24:15

"Let us hear the conclusion of the entire matter; Revere Elohim and guard His Commands, for this is to all mankind!" (I've also read it translated as, 'This is the duty of man.') Ecclesiastes 12:13

Abolish, Do Away With, Destroy, End....

As we know, Paul went to the congregations around so much of the world, and preached about the 'Gospel' and Yashua and many were 'saved'.

We also know that at that time there was NO new testament (other than word of mouth, the life of Yashua Jesus, but no written, accepted scripture).

We also know that Deuteronomy 4:2 and 12:32 says "Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it."

We also know that they are told to KILL anyone who speaks against the laws given them THROUGH (not by) Moses.

We also know that Jesus, Steven, and Paul were FALSELY accused of speaking against the Law of Moses, by 'false witnesses', and the people did try to kill them for it.  These were FALSE witnesses, speaking LIES.

What did Paul preach, from the scriptures (at that time ONLY the old testament) to prove Yahshua Jesus and the "Gospel"?  Where is ANY OTHER WORD in scripture that says the law will be changed or removed?  I believe Paul's words are misunderstood, as warned about by Peter. So prove it by ANY OTHER WORD in scripture.

We know that Paul did indeed say, that the law was Good, Pure, Righteous, and that by following the Yahshua Jesus, we ESTABLISH the law.

We also know that Yahshua Jesus said, "I did not come to abolish the law, but to 'fulfill' it."

If 'Fulfill" means to do away with, Is he saying, "I did not come to abolish, do away with, destroy, end the law, but to abolish, do away with, destroy, end it."???

Didn't he also say, "Depart from me workers of lawlessness." and "The scribes and pharisees sit on the seat of Mosheh, therefore, whatever he says to you to guard, guard and do." (ie, WHEN they read the actual books of Mosheh, DO IT), and "Go and SIN NO MORE."?

Doesn't scripture also say, "Sin is lawlessness.", and "And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands." and "Here is the endurance of the saints (set apart ones), here are those guarding the Commands of YHWH and the belief of Yahshua Jesus." and  "Blessed are those doing His Commands, so that the authority shall be theirs unto the tree of life and to enter through the gates into the city."

If You Can't Keep It All.....

Have you been told, ""If you cannot keep ALL of Torah, you should not keep it."

Deut 30, verses 1-3 specifically speak about what I believe is happening right now.

Deuteronomy 30  (NKJV)
1 “Now it shall come to pass, when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where the Lord your God drives you, 2 and you return to the Lord your God and obey His voice, according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soul, 3 that the Lord your God will bring you back from captivity, and have compassion on you, and gather you again from all the nations where the Lord your God has scattered you.

So very long ago, the tribes of Israel rebelled against YHWH and were scattered among the nations.  They forgot their god.  they forgot His laws.  they were so lost and forgotten, even to themselves, that they became gentiles, goyim, "nations, not israel."
But a time would come when they would remember their god.  they would remember his laws.  They would turn BACK to him and obey his voice.

And when they did God would 'turn back your captivity, and shall have compassion on you, and He shall turn back and gather you from all the peoples where YHWH your Elohim has scattered you."

Just as the prodigal son sat among the swine and remembered his father and his father's house and LONGED to even be a servant there instead of a 'freed man' out in the world, an exile... We LONG to to do what YHWH wants us to do and receive whatever blessings He would deem us fit for.

I can't do it perfectly.  But I will learn.  And I will try my best.

I also believe Acts 15 speaks directly to this.

I am not REQUIRED to do ALL of torah right now and perfectly.  There are some very basic rules that I must IMMEDIATELY implement, and then I am directed to LEARN torah. "From from ancient generations Mosheh has, in every city, those proclaiming him - being read in the congregations every Sabbath.
