The worst of my troubles right now.... I can't find my camera. I pray and pray that I find it.

All the while, one of my best friend's 7 children are being put up for adoption next month, leaving her arms empty and her heart irreversibly broken.

I feel... helpless. I pray for her and for her babies.  I have read their court papers that criminalize loving motherhood and scriptural worship.  I blog about it, talk about it, cry about it.

I might never find my camera again....

But I do find that 'loss' is a much bigger word than we realize.

"Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for MASHIYACH's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong." - 2 Corinthians 12:10

"Yea, and all that will live godly in MASHIYACH YAHSHUA shall suffer persecution." - 2 Timothy 3:12

  1. I just followed the link and read all about this horrible story.

Is there anything that a random person can do, besides keep this family in their prayers?

  2. In the Facebook support group there are many brainstorming ideas.
Prayers are very appreciated, letters and/or phone calls to the powers that be in that area, and notifying any media that will listen. We have been trying for a year and a half. The family is still attempting to get this to another venue or higher court. That may bring about the justice that is sorely lacking in Judge Downing's three ring circus.
