Praying for the Unrepentant Man or Woman

Many of us, in our daily walk, know those who do not revere YHWH, His word, and His path for our lives. They can be scornful, rude, dismissive, or angry. They can seem like a bricked up wall, with no way to get in.
It is not just a matter of 'hearing' the word. They may have been told, more than once, that God's word says, "This" and they should consider, "This." They may ignore it, or they may mock it.

Our own hearts can be jealously angry for our God! Praying "Smite them!" may easily come to our minds. Reading the Psalms, we know that this can have a place in our hearts and prayers.

But we are still called to blow the trumpets, warn the sinners, be a hedge of protection, and fight evil.

Remember the words of Paul in Eph 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Consider that this person is NOT the enemy. Consider that this person is in fact surrounded by the enemy (that brick wall) and cannot see clearly, hear clearly, and cannot WALK in the way of righteousness. And they are now 'destined' to die in their sins and face eternal damnation.

They could have found themselves in this situation by willful sin, allowing evil spirits to have control over their lives. Or they could be purely victims, under strong generational curses, or childhood abuses that made them vulnerable to this spiritual bondage and attack.

HOW do we stand against this?

Eph 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

We fight against spiritual beings and powers, not physical. We pray.

Putting on the armor of God. Binding the spirits in our own lives and presence. Standing in the gap for our fellow, fallen man or woman. Begging the scales (that blinding serpent again) be removed. Praying that for the GLORY OF YAH, this person can see truly and be given a real and clear opportunity to make a choice of their own for good.

And praying that they take it.

Heb 10:31
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Eph 6:13
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
