Almost Every US President Related to King John of England

Using both male and female ancestry a 12 year old girl has linked every US president but one to the former King of England as they are all of the same bloodline and one common ancestor. It’s the first family tree of it’s kind according to the report, linking the presidents to the signer of the Magna Carta, John “Lackland” Plantagenet the King of England in the year 1166.  Pretty interesting.

Counting the Omer Day 29 ~ Memory Verse

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God,
who gives to all liberally and without reproach,
and it will be given to him.

Guest Post - Are You An Antinomian? by Mike Hensen

Are you an ANTINOMIAN?

Websters Definition of ANTINOMIAN:
one who holds that under the gospel dispensation of grace the moral law is of no use or obligation because faith alone is necessary to salvation.

Those who believe that the 10 commandment laws were nailed to the cross (stake) and therefore do not have to be kept are ANTINOMIANS (against the law).

2 Thessalonians 7_10
For the mystery of LAWLESSNESS is already at work; only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way.
And then the LAWLESS one will be revealed, and the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of his mouth and destroy him by his appearing and his coming.
The coming of the LAWLESS one by the activity of Satan will be with all power and with pretended signs and wonders
and with all wicked deception for those who are to perish, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

Once again we need to review what the Bible defines as SIN.

1John 3:4
"Every one who commits sin is guilty of LAWLESSNESS; sin is LAWLESSNESS".

Sin is breaking the 10 commandment laws of God, now remember what the apostle James says about keeping the WHOLE law;
James 2:10
"For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it".

By not keeping the 4th Commandment (Remember the Sabbath day (7th day), to keep it Holy) you have become guilty of breaking ALL 10 commandments.

1John 5:3
"For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome".

Is following the 'traditions of your fathers' (sun-day worship) which began in Babylon, more important to you than showing God that you love Him?.....Remember, we are talking about your eternal life here, are you willing to keep your traditions, which can't be found in scripture, over the sure word of God?

Mark 7:8
"You leave the commandment of God, and hold fast the tradition of men."

Our time is running out fast and soon it will be too late and you will seal your fate......think about it...

Isaiah 5:8-10

Woe to those who join house to house;
They add field to field,
Till there is no place
Where they may dwell alone in the midst of the land!
9 In my hearing the Lord of hosts said,
“Truly, many houses shall be desolate,
Great and beautiful ones, without inhabitant.
10 For ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath,
And a homer of seed shall yield one ephah.”

knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance;
for you serve the Adonai Ha Mashiach (master, the Messiah).

Counting the Omer Day 19 ~ Memorizing the Books of the Bible

This will probably take us a few days.  But the songs are fun and very upbeat and I am sure they will help them sink in our brains and make our bible reading easier when we know where to find each book.

"These are the books of the Bible, the Wonderful Books of the Bible.  It's a letter from God that sets everyone free! A gift for you, for me!"

The Day of the Lord

As I began to study this topic, I began to realize that I would need a list to even truly start.  I will not say this is exhaustive.  These are the scriptures that I found that pertain to the Day of the Lord, ie End Times, End of Days, Coming of the King, Armageddon.  If you know of a section of scripture that I did not include, please share that.  Below I also included some teachings and other resources that I will consider after reading the word.  I share my list because I was UNABLE to find a comprehensive list of these scriptures online.

May your study of the word be blessed and may the Ruach Ha Kodesh write the word in your heart as your put your eyes and ear to it. <3

My Challenge To You

I have a challenge for you, those who are believers in the scriptures....

Many of you have told me, "That is nice that you observe the Sabbath, but I don't feel I have to."

Many of you have told me, "That is nice that you celebrate the Bible Feasts, but I don't feel I have to."

Many of you have told me, "We don't have to obey the law."

You admit there is nothing scripturally hindering me or anyone from celebrating and studying the Biblical Feasts.

So I have a simple challenge for you.

Let us pick ONE Holy Day from the scriptures.  Let us say Shavuot, the Feast of Weeks, simply because it is the next feast coming up.  This year this Holy Day begins at sun set on May 18th, and continues to sun set on May 19th.  Until then, Jews, Messianics, and Torah Observant Christians are 'Counting the Omer' (omer: a tenth of a ephah of flour or grain that was given daily during this season) as the bible directed in anticipation of this beautiful, joyful gift from YHWH.

I challenge you to join me, or do this with your own family.  Observe, and celebrate this ONE Holy Day of the bible in ALL of it's fullness.

Read the story of the Israelites receiving the written Law on stone at Mt Sinai. - Exodus 19-20:21, 24, 32,33
Read the story of the Ruth and the Kinsman Redeemer. - http://www.biblegateway.com/quicksearch/?quicksearch=ruth&qs_version=NKJV
Read the story of the Disciples receiving the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), who would write the Law on our hearts. - Ezekiel 3:1-3, Jeremiah 31:31-40, Matthew 26:26-29, Mark 14:22-25, Luke 22:14-20, Acts 2, 1 Corinthians 11, 2 Corinthians 3, Hebrews 8, 9, 12  (I bet there are more :) )
Read this great commentary that includes historical points that we might not know about, and how some of these scriptures and practices point to our beloved Messiah -  http://www.hebrew4christians.com/Holidays/Spring_Holidays/Shavuot/shavuot.html

Stay up late reading the scriptures.  Rise and immediately pray and praise YHWH for the giving of His word and pray that He writes it in YOUR heart.
Eat a special meal that includes a dish made with milk and honey, in celebration of entering the promised land and the hope of entering the Kingdom of YHWH.  As you feast remember that the word of YHWH is like milk to us, and that it is sweet like honey to those who receive it.

I challenge you.

Just ONE Holy Day.

See if it does not light a fire in your soul, and spark a joyful song in your mouth.

Counting the Omer Day 14 ~ Memory Verse

All things were made through Him,
and without Him nothing was made that was made.

John 1:3

Friday, April 12, 2013

2 Corinthians 1:3-11

Praised be God, Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, compassionate Father, God of all encouragement and comfort; 4 who encourages us in all our trials, so that we can encourage others in whatever trials they may be undergoing with the encouragement we ourselves have received from God.

5 For just as the Messiah’s sufferings overflow into us, so through the Messiah our encouragement also overflows. 6 So if we undergo trials, it is for your encouragement and deliverance; and if we are encouraged, that should encourage you when you have to endure sufferings like those we are experiencing. 7 Moreover, our hope for you remains staunch, because we know that as you share in the sufferings, you will also share in the encouragement.

8 For, brothers, we want you to know about the trials we have undergone in the province of Asia. The burden laid on us was so far beyond what we could bear that we even despaired of living through it. 9 In our hearts we felt we were under sentence of death. However, this was to get us to rely not on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead! 10 He rescued us from such deadly peril, and he will rescue us again! The one in whom we have placed our hope will indeed continue to rescue us. 11 And you must add your help by praying for us; for the more people there are praying, the more people there will be to give thanks when their prayer for us is answered.

2 Corinthians 1:3-11 (CJB)

Guest Post - Time is up. I am no longer withholding My hand from My judgments.

Oh My people, why?  Why do you still go on with business as usual?  I have warned and I have warned for My people who are called by My name to repent of your lukewarmness, complacency and conformity to this world.  Oh, My people, you do not know nor understand the gravity of what is about to strike.  Millions, I say, MILLIONS shall lose their lives when this thing happens.  Woe unto those who are at ease in Zion.  For now the sinners in Zion shall be afraid.

Did I not warn you of these things in My word?  Do you not perceive that you are in the last days that My word speaks about?

Oh, My people, why?  Why do many of you not take My judgments to heart?  I will tell you why.  It is because you are a backslidden people and do not desire My holiness.  You have set up for yourselves teachers and prophets that speak lies of comfort to you.  But I tell you now, unless you all repent before me now, many of you too shall be swept up with the wicked when this thing happens.

Oh, but many of you say in your heart, “I am a Christian and therefore I am not appointed unto the wrath of God”.  Oh you foolish ones!  Who has bewitched you to believe such lies?  Do you not know that My wrath is stored up for all the wicked in heart?  Do you not know that My word tells you that My wrath is against ALL unrighteousness?  Therefore, if you do wickedness, do not tell yourselves that you shall not see My wrath.  For I am a HOLY God and I shall take vengeance against ALL unholiness.

Oh, My dear little ones, can you not perceive My heart crying out to you all to repent?  It is not My desire to bring judgment.  For I desire mercy over judgment.  But it is because of your wicked ways that I must do this thing.  For does not My word say that if those who are called by My name would humbles themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I shall heal their land?  Oh yes, many of you pray for Me to heal and protect your land.  But where is your repentance?  Where is your turning from your wicked ways? Many of My people are no different from those of the world.  And for this reason, I shall judge ALL the land and begin with My house.

Oh yes, you have heard Me right.  I shall judge MY people even more harshly than those of the world.  For you, My little ones, know the truth, though many of you deny My holiness for yourselves and those around you.  Oh you wicked and perverse generation.  Do you not discern the times that you live in?   It is now time that I shall fulfill My word.  And I now declare that I shall come down as a consuming fire.  And who of you can stand in this day of My coming?

Oh, but many of you have said in your heart that you shall be raptured at My coming.  Oh foolish ones, have you not read My word?  I never said I was going to take you out of the earth.  When I do come in physical form for all to see, it shall NOT be pleasant for those on the earth that have not been cleansed by My fires of purification.  For I will gather those left on the earth that have made themselves pure through the fires of My tribulation upon the earth.  And then a fiery destruction for all those that are not joined with Me.
Those of you that think that you are My bride and yet do not reflect My holiness are fools of your own choosing.  For My bride shall be spotless and without ANY blemish of man’s stench of flesh.  You who think that I will take you as My bride while you are but flesh are foolish and do not have the truth of My word.  For My word declares that what is corruptible shall NOT inherit the incorruptible.  Oh you are foolish ones to believe anything contrary to this truth.

But I tell you all now, repent and get right with Me and maybe, just maybe, I shall relent and turn and leave a blessing with you instead.  Oh, but many of you say that you are already blessed in Me because you call upon My name.  Again, I say to you, “FOOLS”.  You do not study My word to show yourselves approved unto Me.  For I am not concerned with the words of your mouth as much as I am your heart.  For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.  And many of you call upon My name with an unrepented heart.  Do you really think that I shall hear your prayers?  Do you not know that it is a broken and contrite heart that I shall not despise?  But I shall turn a deaf ear to the prayers of those that regard iniquity in their hearts.
Oh, My little children, I come to you all this day with truth.  And many of you find My words hard to bear.  This is because you have followed after lies and not My truth.  The prophets and teachers that many of you follow are of the devil.  They lie to you for gain and many of you love to have it so.

Oh, My precious ones, can you not see the seriousness of this warning to you all?  Time is up.  I am no longer withholding My hand from My judgments.  Oh, but many of you say that I no longer judge.  Well to those who say this, I say to you this day, “Lullaby and Goodnight”.  May you keep on sleeping unto your death…….

Oh, but many of you say that this warning is not of God for God would not speak like this to His children.  Oh foolish ones.  You do not have, nor do you seek after the fear of the Lord.  For if you truly had fear of Me, you would not tell yourselves such lies but would fall on your knees instead.

But I tell you now, many of you, I say, MANY of you will reject this last warning of Mine to repent.  And so I say to those mocking this word of Mine, “Get ready to meet your God and Maker.  And when you do, it shall not be pleasant for you.  For I will declare to you, “Depart from Me for I never knew you”.  And then you shall both realize and accept the fear of the Lord.  But as I said, it shall not be pleasant for you…….
Repent, My people.  Time is short.  It is now just a matter of time before this thing strikes.  I love you all, My dear ones and do not desire that any of you perish.  So I say again “REPENT”, before it is too late……

A Quick Note, "YAY!"

I just checked my plum wine that has been doing it's stuff for about 9 months now.  Yes, I know, that is SUPER long.  But it really seemed like it wasn't working out.

It tastes AWESOME!

Like a dry white with a touch of plum taste afterwards.

I am thrilled.

I will bottle it up later tonight and share pictures. :)

I Will Show You My Faith...

James 2:14-26

14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that FAITH was working TOGETHER WITH his WORKS, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and NOT BY FAITH ONLY.

25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Counting the Omer Day 4 ~ Memory Verse

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;"
Proverbs 3:5

Whose Holy Days Are You Celebrating???

Of course you know that people around the world celebrate many days of the year, and use many specific practices and rituals for each.

Would it surprise you to know that in ancient Israel, long before Christ, the bible reports women baked cakes in the spring in celebration?  And that even then people dyed eggs?

Would it surprise you that in the dark of winter, people would bedeck themselves in their finest clothing and have huge feasts and exchange gifts for 12 days?

Would it surprise you to know that TODAY Wiccans and Satanists, Pagans and Atheists and Christians, around the world celebrate these two feasts, Easter and Christmas, also known as Ostara and Saturnalia, with LITTLE difference in practices from household to household?

These links are to the google search only.  It will pull up the google images search of their holidays calendar.

Did you know that these feasts are CLEARLY spoken of against in the scriptures?  Jeremiah 7:18, Jeremiah 10:1-5, Deuteronomy 12:30

Did you know that the Bible CLEARLY gives us Holy Days to celebrate that are pleasing to God? Leviticus 23

Would it surprise you to know that Yeshua was crucified on the exact day that the Passover Lamb was to be slain as a blood covering for the people of YHWH?  That he rose on First Fruits, becoming the perfect providence of YHWH for His people?  That the Holy Spirit was poured onto the disciples on Shavuot to write the Law on their hearts of flesh, the very day that they were to celebrate the giving of the Torah on stone tablets from Mt. Sinai?

This will also pull up the google images of the Feasts of the Lord calendar.  One example is shown here.

As you learn these amazing prophetic points of the Feasts that are given to us by YHWH in His Holy Scriptures, you may begin to consider... is there more to these Holy Days that I have missed?

Consider the Feast of Trumpets.... Celebrating the coming of a King and His army with the blowing of trumpets.

Yom Kippur... fasting and repentance before the Book of Life is closed.

Sukkot, the Festival of Booths.... Living in temporary structures, in joy and celebration, structures that are beautified and decorated to look like a Wedding Sukkah.

They may be only 'shadows' of things to come.

But at least they are not LIES from the adversary and enemy of our souls.

Never compromise.
Never accept second best.

Counting the Omer Day 3 ~ Memory Verse

Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Psalm 119:105

Psalm 119 ~ Meditations on the Excellencies of the Word of God

Psalm 119
Meditations on the Excellencies of the Word of God

א Aleph
119 Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
Who walk in the law of the Lord!
2 Blessed are those who keep His testimonies,
Who seek Him with the whole heart!
3 They also do no iniquity;
They walk in His ways.
4 You have commanded us
To keep Your precepts diligently.
5 Oh, that my ways were directed
To keep Your statutes!
6 Then I would not be ashamed,
When I look into all Your commandments.
7 I will praise You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments.
8 I will keep Your statutes;
Oh, do not forsake me utterly!

ב Beth
9 How can a young man cleanse his way?
By taking heed according to Your word.
10 With my whole heart I have sought You;
Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!
11 Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You.
12 Blessed are You, O Lord!
Teach me Your statutes.
13 With my lips I have declared
All the judgments of Your mouth.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches.
15 I will meditate on Your precepts,
And contemplate Your ways.
16 I will delight myself in Your statutes;
I will not forget Your word.

ג Gimel
17 Deal bountifully with Your servant,
That I may live and keep Your word.
18 Open my eyes, that I may see
Wondrous things from Your law.
19 I am a stranger in the earth;
Do not hide Your commandments from me.
20 My soul breaks with longing
For Your judgments at all times.
21 You rebuke the proud—the cursed,
Who stray from Your commandments.
22 Remove from me reproach and contempt,
For I have kept Your testimonies.
23 Princes also sit and speak against me,
But Your servant meditates on Your statutes.
24 Your testimonies also are my delight
And my counselors.

ד Daleth
25 My soul clings to the dust;
Revive me according to Your word.
26 I have declared my ways, and You answered me;
Teach me Your statutes.
27 Make me understand the way of Your precepts;
So shall I meditate on Your wonderful works.
28 My soul melts from heaviness;
Strengthen me according to Your word.
29 Remove from me the way of lying,
And grant me Your law graciously.
30 I have chosen the way of truth;
Your judgments I have laid before me.
31 I cling to Your testimonies;
O Lord, do not put me to shame!
32 I will run the course of Your commandments,
For You shall enlarge my heart.

ה He
33 Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes,
And I shall keep it to the end.
34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law;
Indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
35 Make me walk in the path of Your commandments,
For I delight in it.
36 Incline my heart to Your testimonies,
And not to covetousness.
37 Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things,
And revive me in Your way.[a]
38 Establish Your word to Your servant,
Who is devoted to fearing You.
39 Turn away my reproach which I dread,
For Your judgments are good.
40 Behold, I long for Your precepts;
Revive me in Your righteousness.

ו Waw
41 Let Your mercies come also to me, O Lord—
Your salvation according to Your word.
42 So shall I have an answer for him who reproaches me,
For I trust in Your word.
43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth,
For I have hoped in Your ordinances.
44 So shall I keep Your law continually,
Forever and ever.
45 And I will walk at liberty,
For I seek Your precepts.
46 I will speak of Your testimonies also before kings,
And will not be ashamed.
47 And I will delight myself in Your commandments,
Which I love.
48 My hands also I will lift up to Your commandments,
Which I love,
And I will meditate on Your statutes.

ז Zayin
49 Remember the word to Your servant,
Upon which You have caused me to hope.
50 This is my comfort in my affliction,
For Your word has given me life.
51 The proud have me in great derision,
Yet I do not turn aside from Your law.
52 I remembered Your judgments of old, O Lord,
And have comforted myself.
53 Indignation has taken hold of me
Because of the wicked, who forsake Your law.
54 Your statutes have been my songs
In the house of my pilgrimage.
55 I remember Your name in the night, O Lord,
And I keep Your law.
56 This has become mine,
Because I kept Your precepts.

ח Heth
57 You are my portion, O Lord;
I have said that I would keep Your words.
58 I entreated Your favor with my whole heart;
Be merciful to me according to Your word.
59 I thought about my ways,
And turned my feet to Your testimonies.
60 I made haste, and did not delay
To keep Your commandments.
61 The cords of the wicked have bound me,
But I have not forgotten Your law.
62 At midnight I will rise to give thanks to You,
Because of Your righteous judgments.
63 I am a companion of all who fear You,
And of those who keep Your precepts.
64 The earth, O Lord, is full of Your mercy;
Teach me Your statutes.

ט Teth
65 You have dealt well with Your servant,
O Lord, according to Your word.
66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge,
For I believe Your commandments.
67 Before I was afflicted I went astray,
But now I keep Your word.
68 You are good, and do good;
Teach me Your statutes.
69 The proud have forged a lie against me,
But I will keep Your precepts with my whole heart.
70 Their heart is as fat as grease,
But I delight in Your law.
71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted,
That I may learn Your statutes.
72 The law of Your mouth is better to me
Than thousands of coins of gold and silver.

י Yod
73 Your hands have made me and fashioned me;
Give me understanding, that I may learn Your commandments.
74 Those who fear You will be glad when they see me,
Because I have hoped in Your word.
75 I know, O Lord, that Your judgments are right,
And that in faithfulness You have afflicted me.
76 Let, I pray, Your merciful kindness be for my comfort,
According to Your word to Your servant.
77 Let Your tender mercies come to me, that I may live;
For Your law is my delight.
78 Let the proud be ashamed,
For they treated me wrongfully with falsehood;
But I will meditate on Your precepts.
79 Let those who fear You turn to me,
Those who know Your testimonies.
80 Let my heart be blameless regarding Your statutes,
That I may not be ashamed.

ך Kaph
81 My soul faints for Your salvation,
But I hope in Your word.
82 My eyes fail from searching Your word,
Saying, “When will You comfort me?”
83 For I have become like a wineskin in smoke,
Yet I do not forget Your statutes.
84 How many are the days of Your servant?
When will You execute judgment on those who persecute me?
85 The proud have dug pits for me,
Which is not according to Your law.
86 All Your commandments are faithful;
They persecute me wrongfully;
Help me!
87 They almost made an end of me on earth,
But I did not forsake Your precepts.
88 Revive me according to Your lovingkindness,
So that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth.

ל Lamed
89 Forever, O Lord,
Your word is settled in heaven.
90 Your faithfulness endures to all generations;
You established the earth, and it abides.
91 They continue this day according to Your ordinances,
For all are Your servants.
92 Unless Your law had been my delight,
I would then have perished in my affliction.
93 I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have given me life.
94 I am Yours, save me;
For I have sought Your precepts.
95 The wicked wait for me to destroy me,
But I will consider Your testimonies.
96 I have seen the consummation of all perfection,
But Your commandment is exceedingly broad.

ם Mem
97 Oh, how I love Your law!
It is my meditation all the day.
98 You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies;
For they are ever with me.
99 I have more understanding than all my teachers,
For Your testimonies are my meditation.
100 I understand more than the ancients,
Because I keep Your precepts.
101 I have restrained my feet from every evil way,
That I may keep Your word.
102 I have not departed from Your judgments,
For You Yourself have taught me.
103 How sweet are Your words to my taste,
Sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 Through Your precepts I get understanding;
Therefore I hate every false way.

ן Nun
105 Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.
106 I have sworn and confirmed
That I will keep Your righteous judgments.
107 I am afflicted very much;
Revive me, O Lord, according to Your word.
108 Accept, I pray, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O Lord,
And teach me Your judgments.
109 My life is continually in my hand,
Yet I do not forget Your law.
110 The wicked have laid a snare for me,
Yet I have not strayed from Your precepts.
111 Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever,
For they are the rejoicing of my heart.
112 I have inclined my heart to perform Your statutes
Forever, to the very end.

ס Samek
113 I hate the double-minded,
But I love Your law.
114 You are my hiding place and my shield;
I hope in Your word.
115 Depart from me, you evildoers,
For I will keep the commandments of my God!
116 Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live;
And do not let me be ashamed of my hope.
117 Hold me up, and I shall be safe,
And I shall observe Your statutes continually.
118 You reject all those who stray from Your statutes,
For their deceit is falsehood.
119 You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross;
Therefore I love Your testimonies.
120 My flesh trembles for fear of You,
And I am afraid of Your judgments.

ע Ayin
121 I have done justice and righteousness;
Do not leave me to my oppressors.
122 Be surety for Your servant for good;
Do not let the proud oppress me.
123 My eyes fail from seeking Your salvation
And Your righteous word.
124 Deal with Your servant according to Your mercy,
And teach me Your statutes.
125 I am Your servant;
Give me understanding,
That I may know Your testimonies.
126 It is time for You to act, O Lord,
For they have regarded Your law as void.
127 Therefore I love Your commandments
More than gold, yes, than fine gold!
128 Therefore all Your precepts concerning all things
I consider to be right;
I hate every false way.

פ Pe
129 Your testimonies are wonderful;
Therefore my soul keeps them.
130 The entrance of Your words gives light;
It gives understanding to the simple.
131 I opened my mouth and panted,
For I longed for Your commandments.
132 Look upon me and be merciful to me,
As Your custom is toward those who love Your name.
133 Direct my steps by Your word,
And let no iniquity have dominion over me.
134 Redeem me from the oppression of man,
That I may keep Your precepts.
135 Make Your face shine upon Your servant,
And teach me Your statutes.
136 Rivers of water run down from my eyes,
Because men do not keep Your law.

ץ Tsadde
137 Righteous are You, O Lord,
And upright are Your judgments.
138 Your testimonies, which You have commanded,
Are righteous and very faithful.
139 My zeal has consumed me,
Because my enemies have forgotten Your words.
140 Your word is very pure;
Therefore Your servant loves it.
141 I am small and despised,
Yet I do not forget Your precepts.
142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness,
And Your law is truth.
143 Trouble and anguish have overtaken me,
Yet Your commandments are my delights.
144 The righteousness of Your testimonies is everlasting;
Give me understanding, and I shall live.

145 I cry out with my whole heart;
Hear me, O Lord!
I will keep Your statutes.
146 I cry out to You;
Save me, and I will keep Your testimonies.
147 I rise before the dawning of the morning,
And cry for help;
I hope in Your word.
148 My eyes are awake through the night watches,
That I may meditate on Your word.
149 Hear my voice according to Your lovingkindness;
O Lord, revive me according to Your justice.
150 They draw near who follow after wickedness;
They are far from Your law.
151 You are near, O Lord,
And all Your commandments are truth.
152 Concerning Your testimonies,
I have known of old that You have founded them forever.

Because they do not keep Your word.

Because of Your righteous judgments.
165 Great peace have those who love Your law,
And nothing causes them to stumble.
166 Lord, I hope for Your salvation,
And I do Your commandments.
167 My soul keeps Your testimonies,
And I love them exceedingly.
168 I keep Your precepts and Your testimonies,
For all my ways are before You.

169 Let my cry come before You, O Lord;
Give me understanding according to Your word.
170 Let my supplication come before You;
Deliver me according to Your word.

For You teach me Your statutes.
172 My tongue shall speak of Your word,
For all Your commandments are righteousness.
173 Let Your hand become my help,
For I have chosen Your precepts.
174 I long for Your salvation, O Lord,
And Your law is my delight.
175 Let my soul live, and it shall praise You;

176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep;
Seek Your servant,
For I do not forget Your commandments.

He Sends Rain

Lately my mind has been heavy upon the matter of salvation.

I ponder on the words in scripture and consider.  Who is saved?  Who isn't?  Where is the line drawn?  How narrow is the 'narrow gate'? (Matthew 7:13-14, Luke 13:24)

I retrace my reading of scripture.  I remember each altar made where the great YHWH Elohim reached down and touched my life.  What does it tell me?  How do I 'know'?  Am I 'saved'?  Am I 'right' with YHWH?

I know many who say that they love the Lord.  I know others who say that they want to serve the Lord.  And I know many who do not believe in the Lord at all, and do not care to.

I live my life before them and share my thoughts with them, and I share the WORD with them when I can.

But it seems that most people are satisfied with their beliefs and position in life and are unwilling to question it.  Most are set in their path, whether for good or evil.

And I fear for them.

For myself and my family I test doctrines and teachings against the scriptures, (acts 17:11) and 'work out my own salvation with fear and trembling' (Philippians 2:12)

But many do not.

It is at these times that I remember...

Matthew 5:45 says, "For he makes his sun shine on good and bad people alike, and he sends rain to the righteous and the unrighteous alike."

I feel really bad about those who do not have the hope of the Kingdom.

I hear often how cruel God must be to 'punish' people.

But, I see it differently.  YHWH is good, all the time. YHWH is love.  And the verse above absolutely proves it to me.

You see, if someone accepts him and the path he expects them to walk, they have the hope of the Kingdom.

If someone does not, they don't have that hope.  But you know what?  They still have GOOD from God until the judgement.  For all, this goodness is tempered (imperfect and sometimes ruined) by the existence sin.  But still....

They get to eat delicious foods.
They get to fall in love.
They get to see nature's beauty surrounding them.
They get to have and hold sweet precious babes.

Somehow, they may see and have all these blessings and not believe in or accept YHWH.  But, He still gives these things to them throughout their whole lives.

I am not saying we should not bring people to the cross.  I am not saying that people do not need the word.

I am saying.... don't believe for one instant that YHWH is cruel.  We all know the price He paid to make us salvageable.  And here He shows us that even when that amazing love is rejected, He still tries to bless them and show them in 'signs'.

As Romans 1:20 says, "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,"

Psalm 19
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.
1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork.
2 Day unto day utters speech,
And night unto night reveals knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language
Where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line[a] has gone out through all the earth,
And their words to the end of the world.
In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
And rejoices like a strong man to run its race.
6 Its rising is from one end of heaven,
And its circuit to the other end;
And there is nothing hidden from its heat.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is great reward.
12 Who can understand his errors?
Cleanse me from secret faults.
13 Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins;
Let them not have dominion over me.
Then I shall be blameless,
And I shall be innocent of great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

Third Day - All The Heavens

This was my wedding song. <3

Counting the Omer - A Gift is COMING!

We now begin counting down to Shavuot, also known as Pentecost. The first celebrates the giving of the Torah on stone tablets to the people of God. The second celebrates the giving of the Ruach HaKodesh, the Holy Spirit, who writes the Law on the Heart of the people of God.

Romans 10:17 says, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

I find it particularly interesting that while we have disparaging calendars, that THIS Holy Day, leaves no room for conflict. We will all be counting to the SAME DAY regardless of how we declare a new month. From the evening of Saturday, May 18th, to the evening of Sunday, May 19th, we will be celebrating together the covenant, the giving of the Torah, first on stone, then, in our innermost beings.

Psalm 1
1 Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
    Nor stands in the path of sinners,
    Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
    And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree
    Planted by the rivers of water,
    That brings forth its fruit in its season,
    Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so,
But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Fire In My Bones

In 2001 I got on my knees and committed my life to Jesus, asking for his blood to cover my sins and be made new.

I remember those first few months after accepting Christ and absolutely LIVING IN THE WORD.  I breathed it in as air. My every moment free I was in it.  My heart desired it like delicious food.  I read and read and read and read.

His Word was my delight.

But then .... it waned.

I loved God.  I still read and prayed.  I still tried my best.

But the fervor was gone.  The fire that burned without quenching was gone.  The desire for Him was there but with just enough reciprocation to keep me going, 'Don't give up,' "Keep on keepin' on..."

I prayed and prayed for the LOVE to come back.

I tried talking to others about it.  Most told me... that it was just normal.  Just like in a marriage, your 'honeymoon' is sooooo exciting and thrilling, and then it cools.  Your relationship, even with God, turns into this cool and calm friendship, sometimes you get a hug, sometimes a firm hand hold.... mostly, you just talk and cry and laugh together.

But I wanted the LOVE.  I wanted the FIRE!

I prayed and prayed.

Sometimes I prayed day after day for it.  Sometimes life caught up to me and I was so busy and 'keepin' on' that weeks, maybe months would pass.

But I kept praying for it.

Last year, my family began celebrating the biblical feasts and sabbaths.  We began researching the feasts, their practices, the prophecies hidden in each.  Each study left us with exciting insights into God and his nature, his desire for his people, prophesies fulfilled in the past and of the future.  Each question we started with, found answers with so much richness that we could smile and laugh and say "wow.... just wow." for days on end.  Each step we found more and more subjects, questions and points that we wanted and needed to learn more about.

We learned that we have not broken the surface of the word, let alone the fullness of YHWH.

We learned that we could learn and learn and learn the word of YHWH and possibly NEVER be done with the knowledge of Him.

And then I realized...

I have been reading the word every moment I can.  I have been watching teaching videos on the word when I am too tired to read myself.  I have been listening to audio bibles all day long as I do my work when I am unable to sit down.

And I want more!

I have the LOVE back!

I have the FIRE!

His word was in my heart like a burning fire
Shut up in my bones;
I was weary of holding it back,
And I could not.
Jeremiah 20:9
