Sharing My Incomplete Thoughts - Is Daniel Unsealed?

A couple of weeks ago I watched a video.  As I watched my eyes were glued to the screen, my brain SUCKED in the information, and my heart and mind questioned.... 'Could it be true?"

To say the least... this video floored me.

Since that moment I have been reading and reading and praying and reading and reading and praying.  I have contacted a few people who are knowledgeable about scripture as well.  Don't feel bad if I didn't contact you.  I was trying to keep a tight lid on this subject until I felt reasonably sure I wasn't missing some GAPING hole in my research.

I am not done researching.

But I feel I must share the direction of my thoughts with you.  Please understand that I am not sure about this.  I have seriously questioned it and will share my findings fully with you.  But there may be something, or many somethings that I am missing.  So I prayerfully continue and ask that the Ruach Ha'Kodesh, aka The Holy Spirit, lead me, my family and all those whose names are written in the Book of Life to the wisdom of YHWH.

If, after watching the video and reading this entire post, you think I have missed something, PLEASE let me know.  I welcome an honest discussion.

The video is Daniel Unsealed presented by 119 Ministries.

My mind immediately went to

Matthew 24:36
“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

So I pulled out my interlinear and examined it closely.
http://www.scripture4all.org/OnlineInterlinear/NTpdf/mat24.pdf

And I find it says...
NOT YET

Not yet one man knowing, not yet the messengers....

Could it indeed have been hidden, sealed, closed knowledge???  Until now?

Another friend pointed out that the scripture must be preached in all the world before the time of the end.

So I searched for scriptural references to that and found

http://www.ecclesia.org/truth/mat03.html

This shows strong evidence that the word would be preached through the whole world before the destruction of Jerusalem and was.

"Paul said that the gospel was made known to all nations (Romans 16:25-26). Paul also said that the faith of the Romans was spoken of throughout the whole world (Romans 1:5,8). We know that Paul traveled through Asia Minor, Greece, and Crete; that he was in Italy, and probably in Spain and Gaul (Romans 15:24-28). During this time the other apostles weren't sitting around idle; all the apostles went abroad and preached the gospel to everyone (Acts 8:1-5,14,25); and there is much proof that within thirty years after this prophecy was spoken, churches were established in all these regions (Acts 9:31).
The following verses all fulfil Acts 1:8. Men from every nation heard Peter preach the gospel (Acts 2:5,9-11,14); and Peter said it was published throughout Judaea (Acts 10:37, 1 Pet.4:6). Paul says he fully preached the gospel (Romans 15:19; 16:19), and it appeared to all men (Titus 2:11.), and it was preached and believed on in the world (1 Timothy 3:16). In Romans 10:18, the word "world" is oikumene, same as Mat.24:24, and the word "earth" is ge, same as Acts 1:8. In Romans 16:25-26, the word "nations" is ethnos, same as Mark 13:10. In Colossians 1:6, the word "world" is kosmos, same as Mark 16:15. In Colossians 1:23, the word "creature" is ktisis, same as Mark 16:15. Hebrews 4:2 says the gospel was preached."

Yet another friend has told me they reject this teaching because they believe the Holy Days are calculated incorrectly.  So I delved into research on the biblical calendar and most specifically the definition of the new moon, which is the beginning of the biblical month.

Most who celebrate the biblical Holy Days follow the teaching that the new moon is the SIGHTED moon, as set out by rabbinical tradition.  The makers of the Daniel Unsealed video use the conjunction, NO MOON, as the new moon.  They explain why here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjaClo2TLtI.

This one factor would play a major role since their argument rests on the blood moons and solar eclipses landing on the actual Holy Days.

I agree that this point may indeed be the strongest evidence against this teaching IF they are calculating the Holy Days incorrectly.  However they show strong evidence as to their reasoning on calculating the calendar the way that they have, biblical evidence, not just the traditions of men.

And in 1270 Rabbi Judah Ben Samuels accurately prophesied the Turkish rule, Brittish rule and Jewish Rule over Jerusalem according to the Years of Jubilee.  He also prophesied that on the Feast of Trumpets BEFORE 2017 the Messianic Kingdom would arrive.

And even within the Catholic church there is a cryptic prophesy regarding this next and reportedly LAST pope....

The entire prophesy with each pope's name and information included line by line....

Note:  they say they do not know how the current pope relates to olives.  But what about this...

It has long been theorized that the Papacy is indeed the Beast that will stand up next to the Antichrist.

And...

Lightning Hitting the Basilica

And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.”
Luke 10:18-20

And....

Obama will be arriving in Israel for his first visit March 20th.
http://www.wnd.com/2013/02/revealed-this-is-why-obama-is-visiting-israel/

"Obama will be arriving in Jerusalem on the 10th day of the first month on the Hebraic calendar.
For those who do not connect the date, that is the day Y'shua rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, fulfilling the Torah commandment to inspect the lamb for Passover on the 10th day." - 119 Ministries

Matthew 24:15-16
“Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

Could these events be what the bible warned about?

“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” - Daniel 12:4

I honestly say and share with you..... I don't know for sure.

But we can continue to look for the signs...
And keep your oil and lamps ready. - Matthew 25:1-13

(And, yeah..... verse 13 also says not yet.... http://www.scripture4all.org/OnlineInterlinear/NTpdf/mat25.pdf)

  1. Regarding the calculation of the new moon - I believe it could be argued that it exists before it is seen. Like a fertilized egg. You do not yet see that it is alive or growing and maybe do not know it is there at all for a while. But it is. The new moon has begun before we see it. Our seeing it, confirms it, and is proof, but exists without our observation regardless.
