WHAT is SIN?
1 John 3:4
Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.



WHAT is the result of SIN and cure for SIN?
Romans 6:23
23For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.



HOW does this free us from SIN?
Romans 6:22
22But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.

HOW does Christ sanctify us from SIN?
Ephesians 5:25-27
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, 26so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.



HOW can we identify a sanctified person regarding SIN?
1 John 3:9
No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
Romans 6:1-2
What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? 2May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?
1 John 5:3
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and observe His commandments. 3For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.
