Abel offered worship that YHWH said was good.
Cain offered worship that he thought was good.
We are to worship YHWH in the ways that he requires, not with our own ways. YHWH was pleased with Abel, but was displeased with Cain because he did not do what was right in the sight of YHWH.
Don't follow the ways of Cain.
