Hatching my own chicks, raising them and feeding them organic seeds and grains, the occasional homemade suet block, and allowing them to run FREE under the sun, scratching and digging for worms and bugs....
Not only is it KINDER, it is much HEALTHIER
Approximately 200 million male chicks are killed simply because they are male,
and it is not quick or gentle.
I'm not Vegan.
I choose to fight this form of animal cruelty by taking personal responsibility for what I eat, how it lives, how it dies. I respect it, and I thank God for it.
