This is such an eye opening paper by Dr. David Stewart. I have considered for some time now dangers of pharmacological drugs. Finding that the bible clearly speaks against pharmakeia really confirmed for me that there was something evil behind the masses flocking to doctors and taking drugs for every ailment under the sun.
2 Chronicles 16:12
And in the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa became diseased in his feet, and his malady was severe; yet in his disease he did not seek the Lord, but the physicians.
Revelation 18:23
The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your pharmakeia all the nations were deceived.
The second paragraph in this paper alone should make it clear why servants of YHWH absolutely must abandon these 'sorcerers' and seek YHWH for our healing and peace.
